That's how I see it... I mean, I love mini-moni to death! but sometimes I don't feel comfortable if someone else is nearby (that dosen't mean I would stop the song!), If I listen to mini-moni with my friends and stuff that's kool I really don't care, beacuse as impactbreaker said this just happen to be my guilty pleasure.
I'm 16.

I have no idea who Mini-moni is... . So I can't tell. But I do listen to Ai Otsuka's cute like "Happy Days" and "SMILY" and I've never been ashamed. In the other hand... I don't have a car so I don't know. And I don't listen to children-like song either.

Well I stop songs if I feel uncomfortable listening to it in front of others. But this rarely happens as I'm only uncomfortable listening to songs with really heavy subject or depressing ones. Guilty pleasures! Bold And Delicious is probably one, Step You too! The Madeline cartoon series and the Shopaholic books are probably my guilty pleasures. xD

Nope. Well, I actually don't really listen to my ipod when I'm walking because I can't hear a lot of things around me. But I live in a somewhat asian-densed area and people don't really care. Hey, if I'm forced to listen to 50 cents rap for an hour, they can stand Ayu.

XD Nope, even though people will look at me, because "YAYA.. GAGA... DADA.. WOWO" is blasting out in the middle of a silent bus ride... I dont mind since i love the song

But it would be embarrasing if you begin to sing it with someone in public REAL LOUD! Even worse, alone

My friends once sang the "yayayagagagddada" part at school. LOL!

By the way, you're from Montreal, QC? I lived really near. Laval, QC!

And as you can see... in this "environment " I don't feel ashamed cuase I know that there are others who like them as well . And some ai's songs might just be consider childish... her voice and all makes it childish (the cute songs) but in the end, I don't agree with you about the self steem, there are more reasons to feel embarrased about something that a low self steem.

mini moni rules!
I guess everybody has their own reasons and ideas right?

No way! I actually kinda like that song, so knowing me I'd start screaming it at the top of my lungs. (Unless I was surrounded by people with asthma or something to that effect...hmmm)

And I agree with the person about the 50 cent thing. I also think it's funny...all these people in my school walk around with rap and hard rock blasting, and nobody says anything. But if I walk with Japanese music blasting...

I wouldnt feel embarrased, most ppl cant make out what it is anyways...
but whether I live it out loud and present it to everyone, or keep it rather to myself, depends on my mood ^^

LMAO@the minimoni thing

Off topic but...one of those girls is not Japanese? :] is she the one with the good english in the counting one?

During the kids eating/blowing away each other...
Hamasaki: Are you done?
Girls: Let's EAT! [you eat!]
Girls: You wanna do it once?
Hamasaki: This year I'm going to be 25, you know.
Hamasaki: We're being photographed again.

:x I get embaressed listening to anything, I think my family just writes off B&D as me being gay, ha ha ha!

yes.. actually the one that always wears the usa flag on her head? lol she's hawaiian, and also, as I've been told there are other hawaiian girls in the H!P... but I'm not sure.

I'm going to dress like the one of the girls in mini moni just because I have high self-steem!

Lol!

No, I wouldn't be embarrassed. I love B&D! But I've never tried to turn the volume on super loud in the public because my mom keeps telling me it'll damage my ears, and I know that with the maxium volume that I have on, people still wouldn't be able to hear it. But again, I wouldn't be embarrassed if people heard YAYAYAYAGAGAGAGADADADADAWOWOWOWO blasting off my speakers when I walk in a public place, because I love the song ^.^

no way. i would be proud to let everyone know that i'm an ayu fan. but most of the times, i do not turn my earphones that loud, so i don't really think others would hear it. i even bring the cd to my work place to play it and no one complain. i love spreading ayu's music to everyone!

come to think of it, if i were to hear the song playing in a store, i think i will tell everyone there 'hey! that's ayu! i love her songs!'
