I don't know. I kinda like it. I usually don't think she looks cute but she does in that picture with the new hair.

I really want another single to be released from the album, preferably Girl Overboard or Control of the Knife. When I heard the rumor that Blackjacks was the next possible single I think I almost had a heart attack. I can't stand that song.

It reminds me of that footballer, "Gazza", who was in the tabloids a lot for bad behaviour when I was a kid. So I don't think it's a pretty nickname.

I really hope Black Jacks isn't the next single. It's so - boring.
-crosses fingers for "Close To Love"-

'close to love' would be great! we can hear all the girls singing, which is not the case of 'black jacks'.

i HATE when nadine dominates the songs. i even deleted 'see the day' and 'no regrets' here...

I don't want Black Jacks either. I agree that it's dull.

I honestly don't think we'll get another single from "Tangled Up" since they've already begun working on the next album. that makes me sad, though, since I think a "Girl Overboard" video could be amazing.

also, Sarah will be covering Iggy Pop's "Wild Child" with Filthy Dukes for the Emma Roberts movie of the same name. there's no plans to release it as a single, though.

Oooh ~ "Girl Overboard" would be amazing!!
The song is so 90s dance-like, I love it.

So it's been confirmed that they're doing a new album? ALREADY! Whatever, I'm not complaining.

Girls Aloud star lands Sharon's old job

GORGEOUS Cheryl Cole has pipped Spice Girl Mel B to replace Sharon Osbourne on the X-Factor panel, we can reveal.

The Girls Aloud babe will be announced as the show's new star judge later today.

Simon Cowell agreed the £500,000 deal after talks broke down with Spice Girl Mel B yesterday.

The official announcement about the Wannabe star judging wannabe pop singers will be made later as filming and auditions for the new series begins.

Judge Sharon sensationally quit the ITV1 hit this week after snubbing a new deal for the fifth series.

The source added: "Sharon was offered more money but decided not to take it."
congrats to her, though I hope this doesn't effect the band negatively.

That's amazing news! I can't wait to see her on it, but I just need to find a way to watch it since I live in the US and it doesn't air here :\

Yeah, she's doing a collaboration with Janet Jackson for her new album. Then again, I've never cared much for Mel. B's solo music so I won't really be following it.

I thought Nadine was the one who announced them working on a new album at the concert though, not Cheryl :\

Cool, she's on The X Factor - that'll be interesting! Better than Sharon stropping off all the time anyway!

Actually it was Kimba. Wait a minute, wasn't it Sarah? There's a chance it could've been Nicola too. Hmm.

It's official! Cheryl Cole will replace Sharon Osbourne as the new judge on The X Factor.

Cheryl will join Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, and Louis Walsh on the judges' panel when the series returns to ITV 1 later this year. In fact, her new job starts later this week when audition begin in London!

No stranger to the TV talent show, Cheryl was catapulted to fame when she and her Girls Aloud band mates won the ITV's Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.

Amazingly, the judges on Popstars: The Rivals included her new colleague and former manager, Louis Walsh.

Girls Aloud have achieved eighteen Top 10 singles including three UK No. 1 hits. They have also released five UK platinum albums.

A delighted Cheryl said: "I'm so excited to be part of such a great show and although it's scary joining a huge programme like The X Factor, it's a massive honour to be following in the footsteps of Sharon Osbourne.

"The rest of the girls have said they're right behind me, which is really important for me as it will be weird to be on the other side of the fence this time. So whilst we get started on the next album, it will be brilliant to be a judge on The X Factor."

John Kaye Cooper, ITV’s Controller of Entertainment said, “Cheryl is not only an amazingly successful, sassy and talented woman but through her winning Popstars: The Rivals has been through similar experiences to those hopefuls who want to take The X Factor crown.

We’re delighted that she has joined the channel that discovered her and look forward to her becoming an important part of The X Factor team.”

Richard Holloway, Head of Entertainment at talkbackTHAMES said, “I’m delighted that one of Britain’s most successful recording artists of the last decade has joined Britain’s favourite entertainment show.”
