All Proceeds From Kara's New Single Will Be Donated To Japan's Relief Fund

Kara has decided to donate all the money from the sales of their new single "Jet Coaster Love" to the relief effort in Japan.

With relief efforts underway in Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami, the girl group Kara has decided to donate all the proceeds from their new single "Jet Coaster Love" to the relief efforts. Although digital distribution for the new single has already start, physical copies of the single will not be available until an undetermined date. The group did not want the distribution of their single to interfere with the distribution of aid to places that need it.

The group was in Japan for a TV drama shoot when the earthquake struck. It was the first time group member Han Seung Yeon had ever felt an earthquake. "Although these people are experiencing such a hard time, I firmly believe they have tremendous courage to overcome the challenge" she stated.

While I'm not an active listener of KARA, I am very impressed with their effort to donate 100% of the proceeds of their new single to aid those affected by the earthquake in Japan. That is very inspiring and beyond generous of them. I am very awed by this and I know their Japanese fans especially must be moved by this as I know I am. Although I had no intentions on buying this single, I might just get it for the cause!

I'm so confused about which version of the single to get. I want the one with the DVD because it has the music video, I want the one with the photobook because I think if the booklet is anything like the cover, the pics are going to be gorgeous, and I want the CD only because it has an extra song. But financially, I can only purchase one. Which version are you all getting?

And honestly i prefer buy the CD+DVD versions of the singles, but i don't buy singles of KARA, an aunt bought for me Girl's Talk, and that's all (sadly idk what happened with this, i haven't received yet). And they don't release the pvs on the album, that's a good reason to buy CD+DVDs sometimes

Thank you so much for your imput. I normally always buy the CD+DVD versions of albums and singles (unless the PV is going to be on DVD of the album) so I've certainly been leaning more towards the limited edition with the DVD moreso than the others. I don't really care about remixes and I know if I get the version with the photobook, I'm only going to look at it once or twice and it will never see the light of day again as I'm not really into KARA that much. Plus, the DVD version is the most expensive which means that it's more money to help aid those affected by the tsunami and earthquake.
