I think I'm going to hold off from critiquing the cover any further until I physically have the album in hand. The first press special packaging may further enhance the beauty of the cover such as the "NAKED packaging" did for NAKED/Fight Together/Tempest. I'm sure Namie has something up her sleeve to make this cover even more special (like the gold plated lettering as someone mentioned before).

I do hope her management decides to put "album mixes" of a few songs on the album. To me that would make loading all of her singles onto the release more worthwhile and less redundant.

I'm curious to see the overall sales of this album. I wonder if it will outsell "Past<Future" in the long run.

I have mixed feelings about that cover. I like the idea of it, but not the execution.

I hope they don't change too many of the songs' sounds. I know lots of people have bought the singles but I personally haven't bought any and was looking forward to having them all on this release. But if they're BETTER then heeeey.

I love the photo and concept.

But the text just ruins it. I don't care about the color. The placement and font are beyond awful and hideous.

were they trying to get it to mirror the sun's shape? Why couldn't they have just put it nice and neatly down at the bottom of the photo where there's nothing going on. Or in the center...of like anywhere else.

I guess it's a miracle they didn't put it going across her face.

I love the covers and I think it was a cool idea to take it when an eclipse was going on. That's something much different and creative then a boring photoshoot!

Covers are odd.. the back lighting makes her face so dark.

Tbh I really appreciate the cover picture after reading this info,
and that must also be the reason why they decided to keep the real light/color instead of editing it as a professional studio shoot like her usual artwork

Eeek. Not a big fan of that cover. I think it's mostly the text though. Usually I don't care about fonts and such but this really looks just pasted on with no attempt to make it mix well with the photo.

If they were to mix single tracks for the album I think I'd have appreciated more if the songs were Break It and Get Myself Back, they are the weakest single tracks we've got
