I disagree. She could recreate the poses, sure, but the A BEST covers are about so much more than that. I feel like trying to "update" them would be doing a huge disservice to the originals.

It would be cool if the songs she re-recorded in the original A BEST (example: Trust) were just re-recorded again for this. She wouldn't have to re-sing every song, just those 3(?).

T-shirt is usually 3000 yen-ish, so shouldn't the limited edition be like 6000~7000 yen?

No. It's limited and contain: CD, DVD, Blu-ray, T-shirt and photobook. Following your logic I would even say is underpriced, because price of CD is like 3100, DVD like ~6000, BR ~7000, t-shirt (as you said) about 3000 and photobook ~2000. If they would release it and sell separately price for this set would be over 20000.

The price of DVD and BR that you say is for the DVD and BR tours.

album+DVD is 3800 and album+BR is 4200 so 3000 for the album + 800 for the dvd and 1200 for the BR are 5000¥ + tshirt 3000¥ + photobook 2000¥ so the total cost will be 10000¥, 1000¥ of difference only.

I think the price of the photobook is 1000¥ instead of 2000¥ because is not going to be a big photobook.

So they finally make you pay what it cost.

^ well, the CD+DVD is normally around 4000 yen, if I recall correctly, so it's around 7000 yen plus the "anniversary book" and a blu-ray, so I guess it's not that unjustified

It would be fun if the new cover was actually this same pose, but with all the crew of make up artist, hair stylist, the photografer, and all that "off shoot" feel, showing how was the process of creating such an iconic picture for her career.

They could have made the cover one of those reflective covers that change picture when you hold it a skewed angle. Maybe have the original cover then if you look at it from an angle then it's a recreation of the old photo but in colour?
