Nariaki Obukuro's debut album is out. I previewed the tracks on itunes and I liked it. It has a unique sound and I can definitely hear Utada's influence on the album. Utada's part on the song Lonely One instantly takes me back to her r&b days like Distance. Overall I think it's a solid debut and I think I will try to keep up with his activities from now on.

I haven't listened in full yet but I'm pretty impressed. It's refreshing to have an album like that released in the current jpop scene, and by a male solo artist too. I am curious to see the charting and sales of the album but I don't think it will sell too much but maybe Utada's star power will help with the publicity.

Me too. Suddenly I really want to hear the full version of Hatsukoi (a clean one, not the one in the drama). I think I'm already addicted to that song, and it's such a pain to wait for another 20+ days.

Cuz she's hikki, who never releases multi-formats yet still at the top of the game . (I almost wrote "she never released CD+DVD," but she did once during Single Collection Vol. 2, with just a single pv lol).

Too bad the tour starts in Novemver, I'm currently in Tokyo but will be back in Germany mid October =( I would have really liked to see her.
