I wish I could like this album. I just can't bring myself to. I'll just have to wait until album number 3. Just no more Deja Vu, please Beyonce! That song is so obnoxious.

^I'm watching her preform that song in this concert called Fashion Rocks. everythings yellow. She was dancing like Shakira in the beginning, she didn't quite make it but almost.

...

also, her skirt is bananas. XD

With new Sony Music chief Rob Stringer in the building (and unlike some colleagues, not taking credit for the surge), the suddenly mean machine on Madison is kicking into gear, following up this week’s chart-topping Bob Dylan album with what looks like another huge album on deck in Beyonce’s B’Day, which is on target to soar past 600k and could approach 650k, based on first-day sales reports from our crack retail reporters around this great country of ours.
Oh here's the quote with that XD

Got the album, and quite like it. "Upgrade U" is the current favorite.

I like the cover. It's interesting. It has a style of it's own.

I just watched it, and it's a pretty good performance, except she DOESN'T SING THE BLEEPIN CHORUS!!!
Goddammit woman! if you can do the vocal gymnastics, surely it won't kill you to sing the chorus!?

PUT YOUR FREAKUM BREAST ON

Sorry that song is just my latest addiction.
It's not a good song, but the melody is just drive me crazy. In a negative way.
Haha. I still don't know whether I have to like it or not.

That track is really catchy. I hate that song, but it's on repeat over here. I know it's weird. XD
Perhaps her vocals ruined the song for meh. XD

I picked up the album at my local Target today for $15. I like what I'm hearing. I absolutely love how she sings so passionately on B'Day.

I went to Barnes&Noble in the mall today (I went to go buy a HYDE album, and hopefully Mika Nakashima's LOVE as well, but in THAT store, I saw someone I had to get away from QUICK, so I didnt get them) and Saw B'DAY. I was gonna buy it, but I didnt know about the whole 'Encore for the fans' thing was really Listen and Get Me Bodied (Ext.) <_> So I bought the off iTunes . Oh well, I still bought it. I wouldn't have had enough money for B'DAY anyway, cuz I bought a 40$ version of Gwen Stefani's LAMB (which I had never got around to buying...shockingly..)

Pics here

EDIT: Oh, PURIN, I didn't know it had that many bonuses! I had just heard about "CREOLE" and "Lost Yo' Mind" but not the other two. Niiice.

EDIT2: Freakum breast?....eheheh (cough)

I've listened to it over and over, and I really dig the whole album. It's all just one big party album. Some of the lyrics may be a tad inappropriate, but it's all in good fun.
Has anyone heard the secret track "Listen"? It's incredible! An amazing ballad!

For some reason, I'm not much into Listen. I think it's because she sings this song with so much power, and for a ballad I'd rather hear soft vocals.
