THAT STUPID GIRL!!!, instead of reversing she parties and LIP SYNCS!! i know she can doo better, that girl needs to get her act together, sure she has great music but she has NO EFFORT anymore. If she picks up i will BUY her album, if not sorry but im not gonna give you my money so you can spend it on crap you didnt work hard for.

i was disappointed with her VMA performance. she really needs to fire whoever is running her show, and find someone who can re-create a better image for her -- and listen to whatever that person says.

i seriously feel like slapping that girl and telling her to wake up to herself. that being said, i'm still a britney fan

That's really funny, because I know the exact feeling you mean. I got it reading these posts though, since I didn't actually see it until 6 hours after everyone else, when it aired here.

Anyways, I was entertained at least by how horrible it was. She honestly could not have given two *****s. At least she smiled a bit, but the choreography was unenthusiastic and the lack of even an attempt to lip-synch was horrid. In spite of all that, her body looked pretty good (it's better than seeing some anorexic up there), and the set was pretty hot.

Silverman could be summed up in a single word though: *****. She was horrendously rude and I honestly feel bad for Britney to hear what she said.

My friend and I felt the same way. We just kind of looked at each other with our mouths gaping open because it was so offensive. How can you possibly say Britney "tried" though? That's far from what I noticed. That woman put no effort into the performance. Unfortunately that's what it was. I went into it with low expectations (due to the internet commentary), so it wasn't too horrible to me. But it was a total mess and I'm worried for any form of success in her comeback.

that Sarah chick is pretty low to be verbally attacking kids for laughs. Fingers crossed that those inappropriate remarks ruins her career (seriously, sarah who?)

found this in my travels -- don't know how true it is:

Britney Spears was to perform under the magic of Chris Angel... but MTV freaked out at the last minute finding out what Britney was actually going to do. Supposedly, what Britney and Chris were planning was to do a set of mirrors and flotation. But when told to the Palms Hotel/Casino... the hotel flipped.

Insurance was the main problem, and the stage couldn't support the performance. MTV also freaked at the last minute because of their fear of being "too controversial" during the performance. Britney and Chris were furious with MTV's sad excuse and told Britney to change the performance at the last minute.

Britney's original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air... and for much mature dancing.

Britney sucked. I liked the song but wow she looked so uncomfortable.

Sarah was funny. But she also looked uncomfortable. Plus I think those people there aren't her crowd.

The highlight was Rihanna who sang live! OMG. But whatever, she's and entertainer and she sure has entertained a lot of us.

Ugh, I can't believe it was in a hotel....to about cheap!!! I mean, everybody did look uncomfortable and just crammed up all together. The stage was little as hell....I think that all was a complete mess. MTV is so played out now. There was even a rumor that there wasn't suppose to be an MTV Music Award anymore due to low ratings. And u wonder why!

Btw, Someone should kick Sarah Silverman's ass for talkin' about Britne's kids. That was too low even for her own good....second-rate comedian!

Sarah is a first class comedian in my eyes but even that was to low for her ... ther are certain things you don't bring up as a comedian and kids are one of them ... stupid "C U Next Tuesday"
