I don't think the ballad is that bad actually.

I think it just needs a different vocal and some more production. If she re-sang it with a better vocal and added a stronger beat, I think it'd be pretty good.

Same goes with Rock U; it sounds a little under-produced, like it's a demo or something.

...but you can't really say that either since the songs are from a scene in the movie where, I think, her character is singing kareoke...

I don't think to listen to those songs before she released hellcat (she actually released Like This as a single last year)

I guess I'm not missing out on anything ?

Not really, no.

The "Ruka for Meisa Kuroki" tracks are likely more about her Crows character than anything she'd really do...

I had some free time on hand before I'm going to get some lunch & after that revise for tomorrow's Principles of Marketing final exam paper & I did up an album review for hellcat

hopefully hellcat wouldn't be a 1 off thing on Kuroki . I hope she can release somemore good music as time goes by

it helps that Kuroki co-composed Criminal which makes me like Criminal a bit more than her other songs

she didn't wrote anything in hellcat but she co-composed 3 tunes in the form of Criminal , SEX & Lost
