avex is a bit of stupid!!!
it seems they have no any planning to release artist cd
only rush everything to release in the same month!!!
they just want to get higher income before the end of March....
but the overall sales of CD must be worse than those CD have a good planning to release.

DCT is actually doing extremely well right now. Their second day sales jumped up significantly: 48,129 + 77,301 = 125,430

The only real probable answer is that they want everything out by March 31st and simply ran out of time to properly do everything. All this releasing with every artist makes me think they are having a problem with their investors and so they are trying to raise as much profit as they can for this financial year (end March 31) so they can give those investors more intensive to stay around.

The first DCT day was lower because the album was actually released a day earlier. Considering that Ayu's album is really poppish this time and over all deffo "brighter" I think it will do just fine.

You have to remember that only a limited number of album and single releases are allowed every week in Japan. It could be that these are the only earliest slots Avex could find.
