Anna Tsuchiya and instrumental jazz band PE'Z are working together on a collaborative release, set to go on sale on August 19. This will not be a typical product, as it is being produced by Takarajimasha, an entertainment company that primarily deals with magazines.

Last December, Takarajimasha experimented with a collaborative project between Quruli and Yuming. Titled "Shirt wo Araeba," the CD was bundled with previously unreleased photos and a special booklet featuring self-drawn illustrations. Due to the positive sales of that project, Takarajimasha was encouraged to try another music release.

Although the title has not yet been revealed, several details of the Anna Tsuchiya x PE'Z collaboration are known. The product will be packaged in an A4 magazine size box, containing a CD, a music video DVD, and a special commemorative pouch produced by the popular select shop RAGTAG. Like "Shirt wo Araeba," the bundle will be sold at bookstores and convenience stores rather than at record shops.

Takarajimasha also has the backing of J-WAVE, which will host a one-time-only live performance by Anna Tsuchiya and PE'Z at this year's J-WAVE LIVE 2000+10 festival, taking place at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium on August 13-15.

In addition, Takarajimasha is openly recruiting 300 fans to participate in the filming of the music video that will be included on the DVD. Filming will take place somewhere in Tokyo on June 28.

Thank you so much for posting this Karen! I'm super excited about this release. I can't wait to hear the song. And in addition to the CD, it's going to be bundled with a DVD and commemorative pouch? It would be cool if they could put her one time only performance on the DVD too since she's going to be performing before the release. But since there's such a short time frame between the performance date and release date, that's not going to happen. Hopefully someone will upload it onto youtube though. I HAVE to have this but I wonder how much it's going to cost.

I came across her by mistake on a Billboard Dance Chart site when "Bubble Trip" appeared on one of the charts. I just thought that the title of the song sounded funny so decided to check out the "Bubble Trip" remix promo that had been floating around.

I really love "Bubble Trip (Hex Hector Radio Edit)". It's like the original but a bit more club orientated :-D

Atashi is.. kind boring. I'm dissapointed. I was expecting more.

Her sound was evolving so well. This just sounds like a filler album track that would have been on strip me? Is she moving away from her electronic sound from nudy show!/sweet rishi boy? I'd be really disappointed if she did since those songs seems to fit her voice like a glove.

HEY YOU! is very punk-y, something we haven't heard for a while. I don't mind. Heaps of attitude. But there isn't much, like.. substance to it. Fun, but its going to wear thin really quickly.

This just sounds like what she was making back in 2006, but not as good! arrrgh what happened anna?

no doubt I feel that Atashi's 1 of her weaker singles to date & I do agree on what you said about it sounding like a filler album track from strip me ?

I just hope the last B-side for Atashi might be able to redeem things somehow or another . It will be a shame if that's not true

well I don't know but the worst case scenerio's that if Atashi is really a big flop music wise , then I have no choice but to pin hopes against her 12th single which will be out in Aug

I don't know, I'm honestly not that worried. So what if it's better than the last release. Even if it's one of her worst, it's still Anna Tsuchiya music so I still like it. Imagine how tiring making your best piece every time must be XD

I'm personally disappointed that they changed the CD+DVD cover. I loved the first one. But I do think this new one looks a little more edgy and since this is supposed to be a rock single, it does fit. As far as the tracks, I'm not disappointed but I'm not blown away either. I like them but I don't love them. I think they'll probably grow on me in time though. That's happened to me with some of her other songs so I have no doubts that it will happen with these. Either way, I'll still be buying this single as well as her other upcoming singles and album. I have every album and single she's released except one so I'm keeping up the tradition because that's how much I love An-san.
