UVERworld reveals details on upcoming single, “MONDO PIECE”
 Fusion band UVERworld has just unveiled new information about their upcoming single, “MONDO PIECE”! The song “MONDO PIECE” was introduced to fans as the “end theme” of the band’s Tokyo Dome concert back in November, but the fan response to the song was so high that it was turned into a single. When asked about their decision to make the song an official CD release, guitarist Katsuya replied, “At first, since we had made the song thinking of it only as an end roll to the Tokyo Dome concert, we hadn’t thought at all about making it into a CD. But we felt so moved by (the reaction of the fans) on the wings of the stage, that this time there were no objections to making it a CD.” “MONDO PIECE” will be released on March 23rd and comes in two separate editions: a limited ‘CD+DVD’ version and a regular ‘CD-only’ version. The DVD included in the limited edition will feature footage from the band’s secret live in Shibuya just prior to their performance at the Tokyo Dome. < CD Track List > 01. MONDO PIECE 02.  love the title too! so cool!  they never fail to impress me with their b-side titles too, lol.  i'm gonna put the promo pic in the first post, now!

OMG ALREADY?!
 will listen to it now, lol.edit: it's not as upbeat as i thought it would be, but i think i like it better than QUALIA. although it's not as good as NO.1 (since that song's amazing  ) it's still pretty great!! i'm sure it'll be much better in HQ & in the PV. but i like it!

I kinda understand why this happened because their next release after MONDO PIECE will be their 20th single , so kinda make sense to wait a little while before a new album's released :O

OMG another single?! totally didn't expect this, lol. this breaks their 3 singles per album pattern.
but i'm still excited! i hope it'll be more upbeat than MONDO PIECE. i totally forgot that their next single would be their 20th, though.

UVERworld will be singing the opening for this anime, "Ai no Exorcist". it's in the same timeslot as BLOOD+ (colors of the heart), Terra e... (endscape), and Gundam 00 (hakanaku mo towa no kanashi).

Ai no Exorcist sounds hardcore  , I see whether my younger sister has heard of this anime or not , as she watched BLOOD+ & Gundam which's how she stumbled upon UVERworld's music

back in 2007, i found the guys from BLEACH!. so then i found the Terra e... opening which had "endscape" as the opening, and i was hooked since then! lol.
can't believe it'll almost be 4 years!

.... I have no recollection how endscape sounds like , LMAO since I'm not a hardcore loyal UVERworld fan like you
but I feel some of their best works comes from the songs that they provide for various animes , such as Gekidou , Colours of the heart & let alone Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi but you see for NO.1's case , it's the perfect example of a really damn good song
