Im afraid it will flop. best albums are usually for putting hits there, she only had like.. did she had any hits besides kuon no kawa???

I havent heard the new single yet, waiting for my copy and the cover is not so good, it looks like old diva. :/

Oh there's nothing special about the packaging, but the song is great ♥



I'm afraid that Avex's idea of "oh, let's put out a best, so people will be interested and buy it and we'll make a lot of money" will turn into "wow, so expensive! I don't want to buy it and waste my money" and "wow I love alan already, but I can't afford to buy her stuff"

I'm wondering too if the +more will be something like Koda's last best album+original album package.

That's one thing I noticed about Avex, whether the artist sells well or not they don't drop their acts but I could be wrong. I have noticed that even though alan doesn't sell huge amounts they haven't really cut her budget at all compared to some of the other Avex acts that sell a little more than her. I think they can really see her potential which makes me happy! Though they need to get her more TV performances and bigger tie-ins.

Umm...I feel very stupid for asking this but is 愛は力 a special single or her 15th single?

I really don't care if she gets dropped. Avex is not being very.....good to her lol -__-

What I'm really afraid of is that she'll be sentenced to a career of singing nothing but covers like Hitomi Shimatani.....what a waste of talent that was.

And I have no idea if this counts as her 15th single...Her website doesn't really say...I guess we'll officially know when someone updates her 'Music' section on her website~



But really...alan has done a wonderful job so far. Even though she doesn't have the greatest sales yet, but for a newcomer...she was able to sing both theme songs for RED CLIFF. A lot of extremely famous Chinese singers auditioned too, but alan was the one to get it.
She has been able to work with great masters like Ryuichi Sakamoto for Natsukashii Mirai and Shinji Tanimura for Ii Hi Tabitachi (alan even said she considers him like a father to her in Japan).

I don't think Avex will drop her...Her potential is just boundless! Even Max was surprised when he heard Ai wa Chikara on the radio and had to call alan and ask if that's really her singing.
She is also doing pretty good in China. She has already won many awards~ (And when you go to Avex China's website, her name is listed just below Ayu's for random things like "click here to buy artist goods" and it's not alphabetically arranged because Ai Otsuka is after alan XD)

And oh~ When Hitotsu was released, it didn't even chart in the top 100. alan asked Max if he will drop her and send her back to China, but Max said her sales are ok like this for 5-6 years and her sales are definitely not like Hitotsu right now, so I don't get why people keep on thinking she'll get dropped.

^I'm just happy none of them look cheap imo. I feel that they were filmed in a very nice quality.
