I preordered it as soon as I got home from school, lol. Although I'm excited about the photobook and DVD, I'm anxiously awaiting the day preorder links are posted for the album.

Some news,

Soyeon got injured while on vacation. She still a trooper though, performing with a crutch

http://www.t-araworld.net/2012/03/ta...-pictures.html

Seems like these girls can't avoid an injury lately. Still, I applaud them every time one of them perform while they're injured.

Also, they're documenting and broadcasting their upcoming trip to Europe through Youtube called "FREEDOM"

Awww, well that's not incredibely exciting. I would've much preferred Wae Ireoni to Lovey Dovey, but oh well. I'm most excite about the album. I wonder what the DVD will have on it and what songs are gonna be on the album.

I preordered the Blu-Ray set too. That I'm really excited about. Sucks it doesn't include their earlier videos, but it has so much content I'm still really excited for it...and English subtitles? Sold.

In my opinion, I find this single release to be useless. There are no other songs or instrumentals included. Plus, the album comes out 15 days after the single so what's the use in buying it unless you collect their singles? The most exciting thing about it is the poster. I understand that they are probably releasing it to keep their momentum going until the album comes out but it would probably be better off released as a digital single instead as I'm sure the song is going to be on the album.

I'm soooo excited that they have finally announced their album! I hope that there will be no more remakes and the album will have only new songs in addition to the songs they've already released! "Jewelry Box" is such a cute title! I can't wait until June 6th!

Preorder links are now available for the "Lovey Dovey" single:

CDJapan:
Limited Edition
Regular Edition

YesAsia:
Limited Edition
Regular Edition

HMV:
Limited Edition
Regular Edition

The first press bonus for both editions of this single is a B2-sized poster. The tracklisting only includes the Japanese version of "Lovey Dovey" and the version with the DVD will have a music video for the song. Looking at the price of both editions of this single, I think that is the final tracklist but I'm not 100% sure.

New details surface regarding T-ara’s member changes

Following the news that Core Contents Media would be announcing T-ara‘s new changes on April 6th, more details have surfaced from sources within the agency.

According to Review Star, a representative of Core Contents Media told them over the phone, “It’s true that T-ara will become a nine member group. Two members will be added, and we will reveal the details on April 6th.”

With the addition of two members, the current seven member group will become a nine member group. The only other nine member group at the moment is Girls’ Generation, and has thus, caused many questions to surface about whether this change is to further compete against Girls’ Generation.

There is also speculation that the two member addition was decided on after seeing the group’s potential in the Japanese market, and in hopes to further increase their reputation.

Earlier on March 14th, CEO Kim Kwang Soo had stated, “In April, there are big potential member changes for T-ara.” Having talked about taking out members within the group, many had wondered just what kind of change would be taking place. With his elaboration on the issue of removing members, fans and industry officials were surprised to hear that the member changes would not consist of swapping out original members, but instead adding new members.

The source within the agency also revealed, “The new member(s) that will be added are trainees within the agency. There was a previous speculation that they would join Co-Ed, but that’s not true.”

Stay tuned for the official announcement on April 6th!

Thanks for posting the update freedreamer. While I'm happy that the original members of T-ara will remain in the group, I am concerned about the addition of two members. Some of the girls already get little to no lines so I'm unsure of how they are going to divide up lines with more members in the group. I guess we'll have to wait until the 6th for more information.

Are you ****ing kidding me?! I am SO sick of groups adding unneessary members. After School didn't need it, T-ARA didn't need Hwayoung, and they CERTAINLY don't need two more useless girls. I don't understand how having more necessarily means better. Do they think that's the reason SNSD is the most popular group in Korea and AKB's the most popular in Japan? Seriously, they're retarded.

I know it isn't any of the girls' faults, but I simply can't support them anymore if this ******** goes on. It goes without saying I'll be cancelling my preorder of the Blu-Ray PV collection too.

CCM’s Kim Kwang Soo releases official statement regarding T-ara’s member additions

As reported yesterday, T-ara will be indeed adding two new members to become a nine member group, and Core Contents Media’s CEO, Kim Kwang Soo, has released an official statement confirming the changes.

On April 6th, Kim Kwang Soo stated, “T-ara will be changed from the current 7 members to a nine member centered system, and if needed, member changes as well as member additions will be decisively executed.”

The two new members will start promoting with T-ara starting in July of this year with the release of a new album.

Kim Kwang Soo explained that the reason for the addition of members is for the expansion and development of the group. “I’ve seen a portion of the celebrities I’ve created become conceited and idle about three years after they’ve risen to popularity. Although T-ara is working hard, to show them that they must continue to try and work even harder on stage as well as off stage, I have decided to implement changes,” he stated.

After the news of the addition of new members, many had expressed their concerns and anxieties, however Kim Kwang Soo thought differently.

He commented, “Even now with new girl and boy groups debut left and right every month, they are working hard for more than ten hours a day… In situations like this, if they find safety in thinking ‘We are one of the top groups in Korea’, they can never progress. T-ara has worked tirelessly to challenge themselves in new ways, and they’re still doing so now.”

He continued, “We will try even harder to make sure that no controversy arises from their greetings or attitude. If there is a member within T-ara who does not work hard and become full of herself, and as a result cause harm to other members, I will decisively exchange that member in question with a new member. That is the way that T-ara can go from being just Korea’s T-ara to a group that goes beyond Asia to stand at the center of K-Pop.”

Kim Kwang Soo added, “We hope for your understanding and interest in T-ara’s next move.”

T-ara’s new members will be revealed in July.

Kim Kwang Soo's statements clearly indicate that he is trying to make T-ara the next SNSD as far as size and popularity. By saying that he will change out members whenever he sees fit shows a lack of care for the fans and their attachment to the members of the group. From the looks of it, it seems like he may try to have a system like AKB48 and After School who constantly change members. He's aiming for world domination and will do whatever it takes for T-ara to get there. Even his tone in this article sounds like he's treating them like puppets. I'm so disgusted about this but not surprised. I also read elsewhere that he is planning to change the group's image and music so if he really plans to implement all these changes, T-ara's going to be like a completely different group in all aspects. If this is the case, I might not be a fan anymore. I'll always love the T-ara that I became a fan of but with the new T-ara, I'm not so sure. I'll see how it goes before jumping ship but I'm already on the plank at this point.

That's my reason in the past to avoid groups, you love them, but there are always changes with members and style.
AFTERSCHOOL and AKB48 got a graduation and admission system since their beginning, but now this guy is just doing what he wants, no what fans want.
