Still, it's very impressive and amazing considering FEEL didn't have a big hit like Love Story to support it. Contrail might have done great digitally but it wasn't as big.

honestly they dont count everything and most likely this album has sold more.
you have to remember oricon only goes by reported sales from people they contact and whatnot. this isnt EVERY cd sold in the entire country and around the world.

I think pre-orders count for the first day sales.

After looking around at other femal solo singers sells, this album is obviously doing great!
And I think popularity doesn't really depend on anything in particular... Sure, the artist has to have that "something" more, his/her own sparkle... But, in the end, it just clicks. It just happens, sometimes to someone that doesn't even deserve it, so it's so good to see such a nice artist being so famous at last. It's Namie's moment, it has been for quite a while actually, she deserves it and she wanted it. She's enjoying it, we're enjoying it, everything is perfection, and rainbow, and happiness.

Despite the second day sales, FEEL still managed to maintain similar sales number with Uncontrolled (thus far). I'm pretty glad there's still a solo female artist who's still able to sell well!
