Queen Kuu should totally release her own LEMONADE album. I didn't really care about Beyoncé much until this album. She's so badass there that I thought I was looking at Kuu for a moment. :'D

As for her sexy image, I have realized that I love this more mature sexy version of ero-kakkoii so much more than the one it used to be.

I believe Kuu won't be able to release LEMONADE, since the album was build on Beyonce's relationship with Jay-Z, particularly his cheating. I can't say for sure, but to me it seems that Kuu and Kenji are very happy in their marriage, so something like LEMONADE won't be released.

lol, I didn't mean she should use the same theme. I meant the music direction the album used. In my opinion it would suit Kuu quite well since she has this pretty cool gangsta thing going on now.

I feel like everyone already gave Kuu shit for her Show Me Your Holla video being too similar to Beyonce. However, I love that Kuu is really pushing the urban image these days, I think she does it better than any Japanese artist. At least, I hope Beyonce inspired her to do that.

PS: I found where some of the confusion may have come from over Kuu having an Instagram account. It was listed on Arama Japan's list of J-Celebs with Insta accounts. It has a link that no longer works. We will have to settle for Kenji's account. I had a feeling Kuu was in NY cause he posted he was there.

I think people gave shit for SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA's PV because it reminded them of Christina Aquilera's Back to Basics era. I don't remember anyone ever mentioning Beyoncé in that discussion. O.o

And awesome that Kimi Omoi finally gets a live performance. That song is too good to be ignored anyway.

Yes, that's exactly the video I meant!

I also have never been the biggest Beyonce fan, but I think its clear to see she's the kind of performer who cares about all aspects of her artistry. And I think Kuu is similar in philosophy, image and sound, so I think only amazing things could happen if Kuu were to take some inspirations.

If nothing is announced in the next two weeks it's pretty safe to say there's no summer release for the year.

Yeah, I hope this happens... summer singles have always been a constant throughout her career and something to really be excited about.
But so far nothing really cool or exciting has happened.
The tour is nothing special, the setlist is really boring. It's just the same old we had for years except they were scattered through different tours, now they are compiled together lol
Shhh was nice but I already forgot about it and was a limited release with not even a PV. Not memorable.
So yeah, I hope she has something on store for us otherwise I can just erase this year of her career. Kuu has spoiled us so much throughout the years lol
But hey, at least she's not Utada.

Unfortunately I feel that the next few years will be similar with the main focus just being on touring. I do hope that she doesn't do another hall tour next year simply for the sake of her voice.

The PV is nothing like Back to Basics's material, only the song itself, and to be honest is more like Burlesque than Back to Basics. I don't really care about those comparisons because doing a dancing video with the black and white scheme wasn't new even during Beyonce's Single Ladies.

I can see that she gets some inspiration from Beyonce, she even went to her concert a couple of days ago, and even tho I'm not a fan of her at all, being inspired by someone who is a good performer is always good.

PLC is there, Kuu still uses two setlists.
Btw I wonder how they gonna broadcast that on TV and release it as DVD. Just one of the setlists? Both in a mix? Or both on the DVD? Both would be great, but sadly very unlikely.

yeeey finally a Kimi Omoi performance actually that ballad section looks pretty boring, I'd have preferred Yume no Uta instead of Ai no Uta and Promise instead of Moon Crying, and Rain for the acoustic short section, Rain in acoustic is GOLD!

Edit: I forgot Rain is not a single, well it's still one of her best ballads to date =_=

Glad to see Kimi Omoi getting a performance, even if it's among a lot of overperformed songs Hopefully this was not a one-day only thing

About the DVD, my guess is they're gonna record one of the concerts and them add the songs from the other setlist as a bonus on the DVD. Seems to me the most likely to happen, and I'd be really sad if one of the setlists never make it to the light of the day.

btw I was wondering since this tour has 59 dates to go with her 59 singles... If she releases a 60th single then should we expect a final date addition?

So kuu was in NY to see Beyonce? Wish we'd known early on. A fan meet up would've been nice
