i voted Morning Musume they are just so loud and childish i wonder what they will be like when they grow up...i don't really like BoA either espicially (don't know if that is spelled right) her OUTGROW song i just don't like it and then there is Koda Kumi her music is good and all but her PV and lives just scare me sometimes her you PV is okay and some others too...then Ayu with Bold & Delicious i hate that song...Namie Amuro WANT ME WANT ME it drives me nuts with that sound countinuously going through the whole song it gives me a headache...HINOI TEAM's KING KONG it is just annoying...and that dude with them on NIGHT OF FIRE and other stuff he seems gay...SPEED with all their "ooo" things in their songs...GACKT he seems gay too...Minimoni they are a second morning musume!!...well they all originated from morming musume and they split into three groups i only know morning musume and minimoni i don't know the other one...

i enjoy artists like Aikawa Nanase, HAL, Moeko Matsushita....i just don't like those above they get annoying sometimes

One vote for BoA, I just don't like her, no specific reasons, u know, when u dislike someone, u dislike them. I also hate Morning Musume, mostly because they have some acting childish, spoiled and as if they are so cute that everyone loves them (HELL NO!). But to pick my most dislike, she's not in the list, she's Jolin Chai...such a copycat, she copied most of Ayu's image and perfomances, no originality!

So the artists on that list I dislike the most are: Gackt, Kinki kids, Morning Musume, MAX (Haven't heard them though)...
But I'll vote Kinki Kids.. XD

AMURO NAMIE + BOA.
But I voted for Namie cause I really hate her!
I don't know why she is popular..she isn't pretty...her voice is bad....her songs all sounds the same...
her eyes look as if she was "High" (full of drugs).

I don't understand why some people dislike Ayu but are loged in this forum.
And I also don't know how people can dislike Gackt. He's so great^^
That's only my opininon. I don't want to make enimies...

If she's been out so long, why hasn't she had a big 'omg sex boom of popularity' before?

I don't see how some overly sexual woman is taking over the hearts of the Japanese. Clever marketing is most likely the cause. :[

There was a time I didn't like Gackt! (gasp! =O)
But his music grew on me the more I listened and I have alotta respect for him now~ =3

same with alot of the jpop artists out there~ I nvr like their music much at first~ but I end up LOVING the hell out of it later~ =|

I don't favor any of my disliked artist. It's either I dislike them, or I don't. I don't hate or dislike them any more than the rest.

By the way, just seeing this thread pisses me off. :[ Why the feel to dis people?

And whoever revived this thread deserves to be stabbed with a dull knife.

If she haven't gotten much popularity before, that's maybe because she wasn't notice yet for her talent. I think it's completely normal that she started out small and turned huge. That's exactly what happenned to Ayu. I don't see you saying the same thing about her.

It's funny how you say that she's "overly sexual". To me, she's less sexy than she used to. And she's becoming more and more popular now. You should watch "Birthday Eve", "WIND" and "Koi no Tsubomi" PVs.

I'm pretty much sure she'll still be huge for a while

I did watch them. But in all of her performances, live/recorded/PV-ness..
majority rules that she is overly sexual xD I mean all she had on was shiny panties in this one Cutey Honey performance I saw. xD

Ayu's debut album came out at no.1 and sold one million+. It's that Koda didn't have anything near that until these BESTs. She started out small for the first few singles, but then by the 5th or so.. yeah :3 She was rockin'. xD

Anyways, it looks like she might be the 'ORANGE RANGE' of 05-06. They were extremely huge in '04.. and now they're.. limpy. xD KAT-TUN took over and Koda has also 'taken over.' Although her popularity has indeed risen [YUCK.], I believe that her sales won't be as good as many expect them to be. After all, the BESTs were super-value. 2CD+DVD for the first one.. and CD+DVD+DVD for the 2nd.

We'll see when she does her original albums and singles. :/
