a message from melody on her myspace. It really got me tearing up I'm seriously going to miss her music A LOT. If she created clothes for guys (I doubt it though) I would seriously buy them! I wish her the best of luck!

I have a very important announcement to make to all of my fans and staff.

As of January 2009, I will be stepping away from singing.
It's been over five years since my debut as an artist in Japan, and I've met great people and had great experiences.
I would like to say thank you so much for supporting me all the way.

To be honest with you, I always had two dreams. One was of course to be a singer, but the other was to do something in the fashion industry.
I've been fortunate enough to be able make one of my dreams a reality.
Now, I've decided to make my first steps towards my other dream.

This is a new direction for me and I really don't know what to expect in the coming years, but I hope for your continued support. I really would not have made it this far without you all.

That's too bad, I was hoping to hear some more of her music because I was beginning to like her music a lot. Although I'm glad she is moving on to her second dream. I wish her the best!

So, my winamp decided to play a track from her Lei Aloha album, and well I think she was dropping hints that she was going to stop singing in there. Because in her Paradise track she sings "Aloha 'Oe" and that is a farewell song, so... yeah. She probably had this planned for a while.

*bumps thread* I have a question! It's about her first album "Sincerely".

I saw a copy of the album at a store, and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. It's not in a jewel cd case, it comes in those really thin digipaks, and it's really thin! o_O I couldn't believe it when I held the cd in my hands.

I dunno if this is some special version of the album, or if the only version of this album is in this special type of digipak. When I looked at the back of the CD, there is no tracklisting on the digipak, it's just some picture or something.

It's not a fake or bootleg or anything, because I saw it at book-off, and that's actually where I bought my copy of her 2nd album "Be as one" a few months ago, the CD+DVD version.

If anyone knows about this digipak Sincerely packaging thingy, or more about it, please let me know! I think the album does come in a standard CD case thingy, so I am unsure what version I saw at this store, the digipak version.

My copy is a slim digiback as well. I only saw it like that so I guess it's the regular version ^^
Maybe it's a first press, but I don't think so.
