After Madonna's great appearance at last month's Live Earth event, fans started wondering which of her performances will actually end up on the the double CD/DVD package to be released in stores by Warners this coming September.

MadonnaTribe exclusively received final news about the Madonna songs that have been selected to be on the set.

The new live version of "La Isla Bonita" featuring Gogol Bordello, that M-Tribe exclusively described in detail a few days before the show, will be the Madonna track selected for the DVD.

The live version of the Live Earth theme song "Hey You" will instead be the Madonna track selected for the audio CD.

Live Earth will be in shops from September 25.

Madonna is reportedly planning to celebrate her 50th birthday with a gig at New York's Central Park.

Madge is all set to tour the US next year to promote her next album, and once there, she is also thinking about bringing in her milestone birthday on August 16.

A source revealed to The Sun that Madge has now hit upon the idea of holding a gig at Central Park.

"One of the ideas she loves is to do Central Park on her birthday. She came up with it and has been discussing it as a serious possibility," the paper quoted the source, as saying.

"She doesn't like getting older but she knows there's no way she can pretend her birthday isn't happening.

"She is planning to kick off a world tour next June in America to promote her new album. Playing at Central Park would be the highlight.

"She sees it as a huge televised event," the source added.

Madonna is already busy working on her next album with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake, writing and recording in London.

She plans to go back to New York in September to put the finishing touches to it. After that it will be a much-deserved holiday with hubby Guy Ritchie and kids Lourdes, Rocco and adopted son David.

The album is scheduled for global release in November.

The Material Girl is reportedly also planning to release a 25th anniversary box set next year to celebrate her years in the music business.

I'm really happy that they chose LIB for the DVD. The Ray Of Light performance is the same as the one from Confessions Tour and Hung Up is exactly the same as it always is. New stuff is always nice.

The next title rumor is out for the new album. Madonna-Connexion is saying it's supposed to be called The Odyssey or just plain Odyssey. It sounds a hell of a lot better than Madame or Blackstar. Just think of the tour! "The Odyssey Tour" would be cool.

There are a lot of big names slated for the end of this year -- Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, etc. I think if Madonna wants her album to be number 1, then it's obvious why she's pushing it back. Granted, Celine & Whitney may end up flopping really badly, but Madonna probably can't beat MC's sales if they are anything like TEOM/COADF. Though MC's albums always come out later than planned, so maybe the two will be in competition at some point.

I really hope Madame doesn't end up being the name. The Odyssey would be a good name for an album that shows (again) that Madonna's not afraid to try new things.

"The Odyssey" is a really nice title, though it doesn't seem like it would fit with the direction she's going. However, Madonna never lets me down in terms of album titles or song titles really. Come to think of it "Blackstar" doesn't sound that bad either... like the urban version of "Lucky Star" haha. Anyways "The Odyssey Tour" could totally be the "part 2" of the Drowned World Tour. Whatever she chooses I am SO excited for this album... even though I'm not a huge fan of either Timberlake or Timbaland.
