Well, I like UVERworld and all, but I still say a lot of their stuff sounds really similar. But eh, they manage to make good music regardless so it's not too bad. The new song sounds cool though .

12th single - 儚クモ永久のカナシ Official news is out! Original Japanese text here

Title: 儚クモ永久のカナシ (read as hakana kumo towa no kanashi; translated as transient yet everlasting sadness???)
Release date: November (exact date yet confirmed)
5 man band UVERworld will be singing the new opening song of Gundam 00 (Thursday, 6pm). The new song 儚クモ永久のカナシ (due to be released in November) will start airing in October.

Ever since their debut in 2005, out of 10 of their singles, 9 has managed to chart into oricon's top 10. This is their 5th tie up with an anime program. The previous 4 times (they did anime theme songs) all managed to chart in the top 5 position, but not once they have gotten 1st.

Till date, 3 of Gundam series singles have managed to chart into the 1st position, including L'arc en Ciel's DAYBREAK'S BELL. UVER will be performing their first Budoukan live this December; they have also put their eyes on the 1st position on the Oricon chart. Vocal Takuya (28) said with confidence, "This fits Gundam's image - world destruction, this is something that fits our style. It's difficult but that's the reason why we are more excited about this. This would become a really great song.".



Sure does look like something that fits UVER's image *recalls Roots*.

It is rather last minute but UVERworld will be attending GO!GO!5Fes'08 in budoukan on 17th and 18th August.

This event is a combined event of Gundam 00 and Code Geass. UVERworld, as we have known will be doing Gundam 00's new opening has been listed as the guest performer in this event.

More publicity for UVER laughing though it's kinda... sad that they are going to perform in budoukan this early even though the December live is still considered as their first one-man live in budoukan.

Koishikute will come with another lucky draw form.
A prize: Special invitation to watch the screening of UVER's PROGLUTION tour documentary tour 'core ability'. However it's not confirmed whether UVER themselves will be making an appearance.
