Overall I like it for all intents and purposes. Namie looked nice. I always love pants that flare open at the bottom. I wouldn't fault Namie and say she's a stiff dancer. It's just that the dance was stiff. It was meant to be danced that way. EVERYBODY danced it that way in the video. Calling this stiff would kind of be like calling someone doing "The Robot" dance stiff I think. Could have been more high energy though. More "Wild" if you will. The one dancer on the left though looked so out of place. He/she was too tall. Ha.

Namie's eyes really stood out though in this video. I don't know if they were contacts, digital effects or her natural color but they were brilliant and bright.

Will definitely get multiple looks from me.
Wow, I thought I was the only one on EARTH notice that@_@ Thanks God there u r w/z me!
Ppl should remember that the whole team dancing is used for the PV, it's not only Namie!
And what the director has somethin' to do w/z the dancing? God, pls think before u say.
I really like this new director

I honestly think the dancing is not bad, haha, maybe I'm the one n only think it that way.
The first time watching it was boring n out of place, but now after 10th times watching, I like it more n more =]

^the director thing at least for me, was a joke...because, for example, when Ayu has a bad PV or one people don't like, everyone blames the director lol

the director directs the PV. If it's not entertaining...don't you think people would consider him a bit at fault?

Just like if a movie has a bad director lol But they aren't the only part of a production...

Namie is the best part...and I think...she may have looked good enough to carry the PV...but it doesn't stop it from being boring imo.

The emotionless/stiff thing has come up before...so I'm not sure if that's exactly what they meant...unless like highly seasoned namie fans are saying it...in which CoriKaru's explanation suffices...don't see too many of them though.

I always compared the singers with their background dancers, so when I see the so called "stiffness" from namie, I looked at the other dancers as well.. and they are "stiff" as well. So for me the choreography itself has some faults within. Not that I dun like the dance, but it could have been more energetic.

I do like the theme behind the pv. And I love some of the slow motion scenes. Overall it's quite a nice pv.

Trust me, she needs no dance lessons. Just watch her earlier performances and you'd know.

As for the PV, I like it. It could have had a higher budget to work with, but overall it wasn't bad.

As for facial expression and things like that, am I the only one that has noticed over the years that there seems to be an Amuro prior to her mothers death and an Amuro after her mothers death? You can literally see the change pretty much coincide with that event and ever since then, she has become much more guarded with her emotions. If you watch her performances before that, you'll notice right away that her emotions were much more free. I think also the divorce and then custody entanglements for her son also added to her being more careful with her emotions. It's unfortunate.
I also agree with you, I think Namie is more free musically since she left Komuro but her character changed, she wants to be cool, she want to hide her feelings. I understand that because I'm the same...I like and I want to be cool

Agree, I think Dr. will be a very high budget video =)

And lol @ dancing lessons. I can't find a singer anywhere in Asia that dances as good as her (save BoA) so...

I actually felt physically ~sick~ after watching some of her tours. Of course I exaggerate, but it's a testament to the fact that she has the stamina of monster- people who have gone to her concerts say the same thing.
I felt sick at Namie's concert LOL XD And I agree..except BoA no one can compete with Namie about singing AND dancing at the same time =)

My only problem with the PB was the dancing. It seemed a bit...lazy?

Like, she didn't move much..and considering how WILD sounds, I thought I was gonna see some crazy fast complicated dance.

probably not although it will be interesting if she were to raise to the occasion

60s70s80s was a triple A-side while WILD / Dr. is a double a-side so that in a way might affect sales in/directly

eh, my weird comment

when I see Namie singing in space (or on the Moon), I don't know how she can breath...

supposedly she would die if she has no oxygen support outside the Earth..

UHHH, that Woofin Girl cover is a mess! That is the most unflattering picture ever... she has no neck, and whatever that shirt/wrap thing is, it makes her midsection look giant.
