i regret that when i visited singapore last week, i saw vivi magz with ICONIQ as the cover...but i saw it on the first day i arrived there...i thought it will make my luggage heavier so i decided to buy it on the day i will leave singapore...but i don't see the magz anymore...!!! really regret the decision for not buying it...

i can't stop listening to her album...i love it very much

So apparently although she's having moderate success (her album has already sold 50 thousand copies or so) there are many people who aren't too fond of her...

Apparently, although she's a third generation Korean-Japanese, when she worked on her career in South Korea she made comments about how she hated Japan and how dating Japanese men is impossible; she's been referred to as "anti-Japanese" and I keep reading online things like "Don't come to Japan if you hate it!!".

Her music is good but this has really turned me off.

If you want some lulz, go to iTunes Japan and read all of the reviews (they're in Japanese though); the album has been rated so far one and a half stars although the singles are selling very well. Everyone there was really pissed//

Yeah actually all I know about Korean Entertainment is that there's a singer named BoA and a boyband named Tohoshinki

So do you think that the Korean entertainment followers made up these rumors and then it spread to the Japanese?

Also these same places were criticizing the fact that in her official website it doesn't mention anything about her Korean activities and just says she was overseas and they claim she's embarrassed by it.

If she hated Japan, she wouldn't be in Japan right now. All she'd have to do is join another kpop idol group. That's the hot thing around. Instead she chooses to debut in Japan and become the face of a major Japanese company. That really causes me to doubt that she hates Japan...

That's why everyone seemed to be pissed; basically "Don't come to Japan if you hate it" sort of sentiment. I dunno; might be rumors, might not.

Her music is great, she's gorgeous and has a very obvious original vibe. At the same time, the whole thing about her sort of hiding her past career in Korea is a bit odd and makes me doubt her.
