The moment I read "gyaru" I became worried about how this collaboration will turn out because I really am not a fan of gyaru fashion like, at all, to be honest. D: Oh well, I still put my trust in Kuu because she can make everything look absolutely gorgeus.

She has a lot of Gyaru fans and it's so wide spred in fashion styles, I'm sure you would find something you like.

Gyaru love Kuu, like, hardcore. She is really popular with AV gyaru I've always seen Kuu as gyaru, pretty much. Even before her secret days, her music was lite R&B, which is super popular with gals.

I always thought Kuu to be very Gyaru and popular with Gyaru, too. Especially since her secret times. Even Ayu is very Gyaru at some points. Kuu does all the Gyaru stuff, from the fake tan to the high fashion. Ayu tends to do more Gyaru make-up though, with the large eyes and fish lips.

When normal Gyaru isn't actually that extreme, it focus's more on high fashion. The fashion as displayed in that blog is called 'Yamaba' Gyaru, the most extreme fashion of Gyaru. Sifow used to be a more extreme type of Gyaru, and then she toned it down a bit to like how Kuu wears.

I really like Gyaru fashion, hahaha. Tsubasa Masuwaka is a famous Gyaru icon, too.

There are many kinds of gyaru, so its hard to pin point what kind Kuu is. I would say Onee-gyaru, personally.

More to the Kuu topic: I am just super excited for Love Me Back. I will start really going crazy for the album once I get this single, because I really wanna hear Say Her Name.

And I agree, I dont think people really know what gyaru is. But rest assured, EMODA isn't some kind of crazy dark skin-white eye make up fashion brand.

It's a pretty straightforward fashion brand, and if you're unsure about it, please take a look at their site, and some of their fashions. It tends to be pretty cutting edge, and shares a large similarity to trends in high european fashion.

Im kinda sorry to have brought up the word Please don't misunderstand.

I mean, type "koda kumi gyaru" into google...one of the first images that comes up is



which is pretty koda-ish, and totally gyaru lol It's just, that glamorous, girly fashion, in general. And thats how people talk about these brands.
