I just listened to Love Place, and I have mixed feelings. I found that this was her most fun album with all the dancy tracks, it seems like she is really finding herself. But, I think that its too many kinda similar track on one album. They are all really good songs, and produced really well, but I have a hard time remembering which is which. Its also her most... commercial(?) sounding album to date, and I miss the quirky true J-Pop songs that her past albums had. It gave her character. These songs are a tad, but only a tad, soulless. But, I do love shallow dance music, so in the end I really can't complain and think the album is quite good overall. BUT, I still consider to LOVE to be her best album to date.

Love it or hate it, if sales of the limited edition are any indication, Love Place seems to be pretty popular in Japan as most online stores are already sold out. This is interesting because it's only been three weeks since the album released whereas you can still get the limited edition of Thank you, Love pretty easily.

Maybe it's selfish of me to say this but it kind of turns me off because if this sound is what sells for Kana, you can bet it's what she'll do from now on. :/

^Well, to LOVE sold like crazy, but I haven't heard anything that sounds like Come On Yes Yes Oh Yeah!! since then. I would love to, if you guys haven't guess that I love this song already I have hope that she will continue to grow, anyway.

I need more songs like Tatoe Donna ni in my life right now. Those epic ballad singles are too flawless for human ears.

^I feel like a little bit of that Kana came through in one of the songs on Love Place. She did some rapping, no? I can't remember, it was all like one long dance track.

Ah crap, when the preorders sold out and they restocked, I assumed this would have a similar distribution to Thank you, Love, so put off ordering. Don't want to have to spend loads through Yahoo auctions or something

That cover looks fake to me. That text just looks so out of place and the lines aren't even soft like on her other covers. Totally fanmade, I'd say.

But either way I'm happy for another Kana single. I'm already gettin' into the winter ballad mood anyway. <3
