It's similar to how Katy Perry's single titled "The One That Got Away" caused her to lose out on securing a record that she was up for... ultimately forever being known as 'the one that got away'...

Sucks that Colours still isn't on iTunes worldwide. I guess we will have to wait couple more years for this to happen.

At least Terminal (Dub mix) is available worldwide and it's only $0.99 too!

^Every time I see someone who has the plug air, I ask them to share it, but they're not sure how. I do know that the remix is only 3:29.

It plugs into the headphone jack of the phone, right? I wonder if it would be possible to hook it up to a computer instead and use some sort of audio recording software.

The whole concept of plug-air just seems so fracking ridiculous.

Since phones are little computers maybe there is a program for android or another OS which would be able to record this plug-air thingy?

The actual device only contains a key to unlock the content on PlugAir. You plug it in, the app reads data from the mic in (because, unless 3.5mm jacks have changed, the only other port is an analog out for audio), and the app searches for then loads the content from PlugAir servers.

It's possible using a background app to record audio output. (Kind of like using a cassette player to record a radio channel to a cassette tape.) But it's likely the quality won't be good.

We'd have to find someone who actually has the PlugAir and probably use their phone. The good news is we have until like February to get this remix before it's lost forever.

The bad news is that, based on our recent luck with Ayu remixes, it's probably going to sound like the Armand van Helden mix of INSPIRE.

The good news again though is that she thought Terminal was a good idea, so we may just get an XOXO re-cut.

I'll start the bet at $1 that she releases an XOXO re-cut. And I'll throw in an extra $.50 for every copy it sells. I've got $20 in my pocket, so I should have enough left over to get an ice cream cone if I lose.

It's kind of the same for Kesha as well. She was like "C'Mon" but no one showed up.

If I understand it right you need an App to play the PlugAir on your phone, or better stream, I think the remix itself isn´t even on that thing, only a code to stream it (at least I have read something like that before) But I can´t even find that App in the Play Store on my phone o.o Getting a new phone the next few days, maybe it will work then o.o

You know it will surface eventually. Remember the Island Mix of It Was? Sure you do, it's fucking amazing (seriously though, if you don't know it ten get it and make it a goal to listen to it come summer time, especially if you can get your ass out on the lake). That remix originally showed up in a CM for some mu-mo thing and took a while for it to surface but eventually it did. I'm sure avex will bring out the XOXO remix one day. I'm more concerned with that unreleased remix which appeared in the A BEST live tour (was it a fairlyland remix?).

Yes!! It does an amazing job of capturing the "laid-back summer chill" atmosphere. One time I fulfilled my dream of being out in the middle of the lake just chilling back in the sun, floating amongst space while listening to this remix and it was a magnificent experience. Music is so much better when the environment evoked within the song matches your surroundings and other senses.

If you can't make it to the beach or something (it doesn't have the same effect if it's a crowded area), throw it on while laying outside enjoying the Rays of the sun. Sit back and escape within the soundscape.
