well timmy is a talented composer, you cannot deny that nor the fact that the dude got skills in singing too. These are only things she had gave him to do, so i dunno how "every job under the sun" applies to doing, like 3-4 songs and singing backing vocals. That as well might go with her dancers, maybe some of them do actually have a little something when it comes to acting. Plus i could bet for her it feels more comfortable to do scenes with them who are actually close to her than some stranger who was hired only for that job. I could then also ask why did she pic up Jaejoong to be in blossom video? She could have hired anyone else, really. The dude has a talent for acting and he just happens to be her friend.

Ayu putting her friends and husbands in her work stuff is no different like say holywood's "big sharks" giving roles to their friends and relatives. or record companies' CEOs or producers or presidents giving chances/money for their family members to pull off recording deals and spit out songs.

What i'm trying to say is that while i also usually find the "friends or family" thing with hiring to do the job for you a bit biased, there are exceptions sometimes. becaue all in all most of the times those people turn out to be close to you BECAUSE you met them ON THE JOB.

Her curent husband wouldn't make much sense, but who knows, maybe the guy has hidden talents. lol

I don't see how using her dancers - people who are already working for her under contracts - in her MVs unprofessional at all. Why would she hire yet more people when she already has people working for her who can do the job?

I believe Aderianu meant that even if her dancers are playing characters on the videos, they also dance on most of them, so, they aren't there as just actors, but also as dancers.

i'm gay but i just hate timmy. the way he puts himself out there is disqusting in my eyes. it's not homophobic to dislike feminine gays, it's like saying you don't really enjoy fat people or handicapped, it doesn't make you racist imo

Literally all I say is that she seems to have given Timmy a lot of jobs because they're good friends, and somehow from that alone some of you spring into a racism and homophobia tirade. wtf?

It is NOT homophobic to dislike someone who is gay. Literally NOTHING of any homophobic nature was even said here. Pull your heads out of your asses and stop trying to be a victim Jesus Christ.

And for the record, I like Timmy. As a composer. I don't mind his presence in her tours, but I simply don't think he's good enough on stage for the job. The problem is that she gives too many people jobs they aren't good enough for because they're friends. It's not that she's putting friends in her work. It's that she's putting people who really aren't qualified to do X job in X role because they're friends. That's unprofessional. In my opinion.

He's composed, done backing vocals on both CD and tours, been in PVs, and had those ringmaster or w/e roles in tours, where he just sort of struts around on stage and is giant and awkward. She pretty much shoved him in our faces for a while, just like she did with Shuya and Mannie and then Maro.

Again, I don't think it would be a problem if Timmy was really... qualified for that role on stage. But he's so awkward in tours that it comes off as Ayu having just put him there because "teehee we're BFFs let's do everything together!" It doesn't come off as a role she created and then decided to hire Timmy for. It comes off as a role she shoehorned in just so Timmy could have a place in her sparkly concert tour.

And I don't find "comfort" to be an excuse because, like, that's her job. She's been doing this for 15 years now, she's a big girl.

I'm to tired to go back in this thread and to look up who wrote what, but a lot of times when people complain about Timmy they make homophobic comments about him. Nothing wrong with disliking him, but not liking him because he doesn't fit in the box some people label with "masculinity" is homophobic and sexist.

Think we started noticing this around 2008 or so? When she keeps using the same director for PVs.. the guy who directed Days, and was it momentum? And several others in that couple of years, because they were high school friends. Luckily he was half-decent but that was a start.

Then there was that fetish for Kazuyoshi Shimomura in 2008 - 2010 or so, and then Leslie Kee until he dragged her ass down to prison to bail him out. Then we get Timmy (wow featured in the album photo shoot of her most self-indulgent era to date, how many of her BFFs get to boast that?!), that period also saw Mannie in 3 PVs in Love songs, then having to milk him to the last drop in Return Road PV. Then Maro on the COVER of one of her horridly executed mini-albums, and then on another three PVs before delegating to a grass-eating beggar who still hates on Ayu.

Look, I love this woman for her intelligence, foresight and ability to connect to people, but she's human too. Humans err. She has erred heavily from 2010 to 2013 and you're either deluded or blind not to see that. If only she had stuck to her pre-Secret days where she was actually more than anal about every detail in her career... no offense but I think the Ayu during the production of the Duty album would laugh her ass off at the Ayu during the LOVE again era.

regarding timmy on stage, i honesty don't care anymore, the guy does the job well. she can put Arnold Schwarzenegger on stage to do backing vocals for her dressed as a drag queen for all i care, as long as the people that are on stage do the job, i won't be bothered lol
I actually got used to timmy now and i don't mind him on her tours anymore.

she is a big girl yes, but still. also someone pointed it out, it's kind of logical to use dancers in her PVs because they are under the contract after all.
