RIP to him . Without him , there wouldn't be so many Johnnys groups I've came to love & support for the past decade or so I hope Tackey will now take J&A to the new level

B'z & GRANRODEO new albums are not easy to get into but after a few rounds of listen , it shows who's still boss in the JRock world
Interestingly both of them are rock duos ie. each of them have a vocalist & guitarist where the vocalist writes all the songs while the guitarist compose all the songs Anyway for B'z's latest album , how often you can say you get Joe Perry to play in 1 of the songs in the record and that no. happens to be the longest but best track in the release ? x)

I don't listen to MISIA but despite this , she sounds really great alongside with GLAY's TERU in GLAY's previous single YOUR SONG
I think TERU & MISIA compliment each other really well vocals wise Also TERU normally don't compose GLAY's material (that's normally either TAKURO or HISASHI who does that) but what TERU did with YOUR SONG was really good I liked YOUR SONG a lot & for GLAY to bring in MISIA to sing it with TERU , it's something special

Aaaand congrats again to Arashi for achieving the highest selling first week sales in the 2010's for an album.
Selling 1,3 million, beating Namie's Finally with 1,1 million. https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2138999/full/ Maybe 3 million will be possible in the long run, cause the limited edition sold out very fast and they produce more, but those copies are only to be shipped out in August.

Sukima Switch released a new single, with a cover of Miyuki Nakajima's Ito as a b-side... I feel like so many acts cover that song (like is that their job?), but it got me wondering: What are actually the most covered Japanese songs? Google didn't provide answers, but I would love to know if anyone's ever tried to make statistics. I bet Ito would be up there, lol.

Announced 45 mins ago , this year's C3AFASG's I LOVE ANISONG performers lineup imo is just downright bad
Guess I will not be going unlike last year where it was worth the 7 years wait in watching SPYAIR perform and they were so so so good live Everyone waited 3 hours for SPYAIR to come onstage to perform & nobody complained about it ! That said I'm real surprised to see BLUE ENCOUNT on the C3AFASG's I LOVE ANISONG performers lineup I know BLUE ENCOUNT are friends with SPYAIR & somemore SPYAIR are on hiatus currently so :s

Kanjani's Ryo is leaving both the group and J&A end of Sept ._.
Man it has been a sucky year for J&A . Even though I do not listen to Kanjani anymore , their old Enka music was and is still so good In a way for J&A to announce this just 2 days after Kanjnani finished their 15th anniversary dome tour it's quite insensitive to longtime Kanjani fans like my friend Wonder if ex member Subaru will comment about Ryo's departure now he has SNSes

ARASHI still got it after being in the business for so long
I already loved BRAVE when ARASHI 1st performed it at last year's Best Artist 2018 The full version of the song , it's super epic and BRAVE is indeed a super masculine song I seldom buy ARASHI's singles but I probably will do that for BRAVE And with Rugby World Cup 2019 starting next Fri , I will be surprised if ARASHI will not perform at the opening or closing ceremony at the sports event , same thing with Kuu

Beverly had her first one-man-live yesterday (she only had three smaller tours till now).

Her songs tend to be pretty safe, but she has such a great voice and is such a sweet and fun person following her on Instagram, I just have to love her. Also color-code just had their 5th Anniversary Live! And sharing videos of it on Insta, too! Congrats to them! Their last single KAGEROU is great. Quote:

- ARASHI will be performing at the coronation ceremony of Emperor Naruhito on 9th Nov which's like woah
- SID's new album is pretty good . This year is the 3rd album release I listen to that doesn't include any singles after B'z & KAT-TUN Ironically it's 1 of the rare times that the song that shares the same title as the album , I don't like x) - My sister is going back Japan next month & last night she found out that she probably will go back Japan again next Feb - I want AKIHIDE to release another new solo album with vocals before his new solo tour starts in Nov All the while I always feel vocally AKIHIDE is better than DAIGO . When I listened to AKIHIDE's super old indie material way before BREAKERZ was formed , he sounds almost the same as now unlike DAIGO
