Definitely much harder rock than his Laruku stuff. But I'm still not a big fan of his solo style though, sometimes it seems he's voice goes insanely high just because he can do it, and not because the song requires him to do so...

But still, it's great to listen to if you need an adrenalin rush.

Currently downloading his album. Just like to ask, whatever happened to his version of Glamorous Sky?! lol Because I heard that he was gonna sing his own version of that song and that will be in his album... I guess not then? Maybe I had mistaken about it all along.

^Um, I think that was just a rumor.
He composed the music for GS, but otherwise, he had nothing else to do with it.

What does everyone think of this new album by Hyde?

I like "It's Sad." Made in Heaven.. it hasn't got me attached at all. In the middle of the song, it sounds like Hyde is tired and is forcing his voice out a lot o.O;; It doesn't sound so good to me.

Otherwise, this album does sound a lot Americanized. Maybe it's because Kaz and Hyde like American rock musice? It was mentioned that American musicians DID help Hyde with the music.

I spoke to my friend Yuu in Japan on Yahoo Messenger. Yuu's younger sister got tickets to HYDE's August 20th concert she said she's going to try to buy me something~! She said since it's at a big arena, they should have lots of merchandise around. And yeah, they do sell out fast, she said O_O

Some forums are discussing Hyde's song "Dolly" saying that he was attacking science and religion. Also the album cover and etc. Any comments on this?

^Really? There is sure some political issues he touches. It's just his opinion though, because I've heard much worse in music

I think that talk about attacking science and religion is just stupid. I think Hyde just tells how he feels and what he thinks. I don't see this as an attacking album at all. Besides the lyrics are amazing. *___* Like in Dolly. Hyde's one of the best lyricist I know.

I like his opinions, but it's just an opinion.. and I don't know whether it's becoming a 'controversery' or not.. but yeah.

I don't like how I can't understand what he's trying to say in English. It makes me not wanna buy the album. I wish he'd at least be understandable.. or just sing in Japanese

i bought hyde's "faith" album the other day at a local music store. i hadn't heard any of it before, but its pretty good.

i wonder if he's trying to be recognized in the US with his album and his performances in california?
