Warner Music International posted a Madonna's new album event on Facebook!

4MTSTW credits added on ASCAP site

Publishing details for Madonna's forthcoming single 4 minutes to save the world have been posted at the ASCAP site. The song is credited to Madonna Ciccone, Nate Hills (Danja), Timothy Mosley (Timbaland) and Justin Timberlake.

It looks that song is now called only '4 Minutes'.

So according to Perez Hilton, Madonna's new album is officially titled Hard Candy. Not bad. Although basing the title on a song which frankly sounds horrible, if the version leaked online in low quality was any indication, might not be the best idea. I really hope they revamped Candy shop so it's not just generic lyrics over weird percussion. At least 4 Minutes sounds promising

Madonna's album title, release date confirmed

The title of Madonna's forthcoming album will be Hard Candy, EW.com has learned exclusively. The record, her last studio effort for Warner Bros., includes a track called "Candy Store." Madonna chose to stick with the sweet theme because "she loves candy," says her longtime rep Liz Rosenberg. "It's about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, or as Madonna so eloquently expressed 'I'm gonna kick your ass, but it's going to make you feel good.'" The album, which features Justin Timberlake on multiple tracks and production by Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, and Nate "Danja" Hills, will see a U.S. release on April 29. The first single, "Four Minutes," will be out at the end of March.

Justin to induct Madonna, a rep for the Hall confirmed MTV!

Justin Timberlake will induct Madonna into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the organization’s March 10 ceremony, a rep for the Hall confirmed to MTV News Tuesday (February 26).

Other inductors include Tom Hanks (for ’60s group the Dave Clark Five), Lou Reed (for folk legend Leonard Cohen), Billy Joel (for John Mellencamp), Ben Harper (blues harmonica player Little Walter), Jerry Butler (legendary soul producers Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff) and John Fogerty (instrumental group the Ventures).

More on Justin inducting Madonna...

Madonna will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 10 by Justin Timberlake. Since that bit of gossip turned out to be true, I suppose I now can share what else I’ve heard.

At the time, I was told the Queen of Pop and the Prince of Pop were planning to perform at the show – presumably “4 Minutes to Save the World.”

The two would rise from underneath the stage, with Timberlake at the piano and Madonna on it.

As of last weekend, though, I heard that plan have been scrapped…but if anything of the sort happens, remember where you read it first.

Israel to get Madonna's new album first

Israel will be the first country in the world to get Madonna's upcoming, yet untitled, album on April 24th, local media reported.

Interviews with M about the new album

Our friends Kimmy and Hans from fellow fansite MadonnaUnderground inform us that Warner Music Netherlands confirmed Daphne Bunskoek of RTL Boulevard has been invited to interview Madonna in Los Angeles, because of M's new album.
As previously reported the interview will take place tomorrow.

Veronica (Dutch magazine and TV channel) will also be interviewing Madonna, which makes Holland a very lucky country with two interviews! Dutch TV station RTL also has something exciting planned.

Sleep Deprived?

February 27, 2008 -- WHO knew Madonna was so fun? While serving jury duty Monday in LA, sources said she "complained that she got only three hours of sleep because of her Oscar party Sunday night, and then asked another juror if she could lie down on the bench." One spy said, "She was laughing with jurors and said she hated the movie 'Enchanted.' " When the court started calling out jurors' names, Madonna "got up to stand in the unemployed line and joked, 'I'm gonna tell them I'm an unemployed mom.' "

Z100 and Y100 heard and talk about ''4 Minutes''

This morning on Z100 (New York) and Y100 (Miami) several of the DJs mentioned "4 Minutes" and 2 of them admitted they had already HEARD the track. Both DJs had positive comments to make and noted that Timbaland does his usual "hey, hey/uhh, uhh" singing in it, but features primarily Justin Timberlake and Madonna.

Z100 is one of the most influential radio stations in the country as far as airplay is concerned.

In case you were wondering if the debut single from Madonna's new "Hard Candy" album received a remix treatment from brand new producers who haven't previously worked with the Queen of Pop, MadonnaTribe can exclusively report that Dutch born Tom Holkenborg aka JunkieXL is among those who have been commissioned to remix "4 Minutes (To Save The World)".

Another remixer for the new single isn't exactly a Madonna newbie. In fact, longtime collaborator Peter Rauhofer has also been asked to produce his own version of the song.
