Team Kobukoro over here! avex is really annoying me by shoving EXILE down everyone's throats.

Somehow I doubt that B'z will get the yearly #1, their popularity has seemed to have taken a major hit recently, as seen by their last release selling less than 300k in its first week. I'll be interested to see where it ends up though. If aiko releases a best, I think that might be a strong contender for top 5 yearly. I'm really hoping Hikki gets in the top 5 too.

I think I"m the only one on team EXILE right now. EXILE LOVE was a good album and is home to "Make Love" - one of my fav J-Pop songs performed by males. I won't allow Kobukuro to keep dominating the charts. Their albums are just making everyone feel bad...

I'm glad Kuu beat em in 06 and 07 but it looks like that won't be happening in 08. And I'm not a crazy person about positions but they did break Ayu's streak and that was annoying. It's just...annoying.

According to a new blog entry by Japanese DJ JIN, EMI Japan is asking several top DJs to create remixes for Utada’s track “Celebrate,” off of her latest album “HEART STATION.” There are no plans for an official release of the mixes, as these are only meant for DJ use at clubs to help promote the album. DJ JIN’s mix is titled “Celebrate (DJ JIN Spiritual Screwed-Up Edit),” a slower, down tempo mix which features a long and short version, with the longer edit including a mixed version of the Gentle Beast Interlude. Other remixes exist, including those done by YAKKO and DJ Komori. Thanks to Nakatani-san.
