I'm afraid to say this, but I have a feeling this single did not go very well...

It appears that she was not even in the top 50 - worst performing single? (There was no proper promotions - TV appearances was there, but that was localized, not on a national scale)

Yeah, I agree, but among her three mini-album releases, this one was the better one (Kimi ni Okuru Uta: #56; Close To You: #50; this one's #31)...

But does anybody have information on digital sales? I hope digital sales are better!!!

The covers and the promo pic are out! Those covers really suit that holiday theme, and they're better than AKB48's "Ue kara Mariko" covers (that single's also releasing on the same day as Sayu's)...

I'm shocked at this!!! (Hopefully the digital sales are much better than what I am seeing the ugliest sales performance I've ever seen by Sayu...HELLO???)

(After all, we are about to put this thread on hiatus - until I hear a new Sayuri Sugawara release; hopefully that will be MUCH better than this...)

Okay guys, back to work. Sayuri Sugawara is about to release a new single on March 28, 2012 - mark your calendars!

It appears there will be two editions - limited and regular; first since "Kimi ga Iru Kara" back in December 2009. No title announced yet...

Hopefully this one has got to be BETTER than the last one...

I'm providing some more information, just to clarify:
  • There are going to be two editions, a limited edition and a regular edition.
  • This single is the first time since "Kimi ga Iru Kara" back in 2009 that will do a format like this (something that miwa, YUI are used to...; her second overall).
  • The limited/regular scheme will be same concept as "Forever..." mini-album back in July 2010 in terms of content.
  • The limited edition will include a bonus DVD. I am guessing that there isn't a music video there - maybe live concert footage?
  • The regular edition will include a bonus track that is NOT included in the limited edition (similar to Arashi's/Johnny's artists' limited/regular singles scheme?).
  • The title of the song has yet to be determined. (I will update with another post as soon as I have more information.)

In addition, I do want you guys to refer to this link also, which provides a bit of detail on the new single and information on a number of live concerts, which is highlighted by her "Chao! LIVE" 'one-girl' concert on March 26, two days before the single's release. (Surely she'll sing that new song there!)

Back in October, when I was using KeyHoleTV, there was something called "bayfm78" (bayfm 78.0 MHz; http://www.bayfm.co.jp/), and late last year I mentioned it:

Unfortunately, it has been quite unlucky that bayfm recently has been not in the KeyHoleTV listing, which has been quite a bummer. And whenever bayfm appears, it actually shuts off before Sayu goes on air!

Well, no more of that. Since last week, Sayu's "Chao! Raji" radio show can now be broadcasted over Nico Nico Douga, live as it is, and as a special bonus, you can see Sayu doing her actions on her radio show as it is!

I'm really happy that it's now available on Nicovideo live like on bayfm. And I found out that although Nicovideo may put regional restrictions on certain live programming (at one time I tested out that it was not available outside of Japan!), this appears not to be the case, so once again same time, but I think it's literally available around the world (as long as you have a Nicovideo account, which I created earlier this week just because of Sayu...).

Here's the link - already last week and this week was done; wait until next week! (Remember - every late Thursday night/early Friday morning Japan time, 12:30-12:55 AM)
