this probably might set off another SMAP part 2 episode cos after Takuya Kimura helped SMAP to explode SMAP in popularity , I think there were backlashes & etc which happened in the 90's

I could be wrong about this though but the media always likes to pick on people who grown too fast/big in terms of popularity & it's just unfortunate that ARASHI got singled out

Jup, it's like you said.
I guess, that's the price you have to pay for being famous.

Still, it's unfair, stupid and unnecessary!

Arashi are always doing their best to entertain the viewers, they even humiliate themselves sometimes (which is stuff I prefer not to watch! ), so such articles are unjustified.

cos you know the past 2 years , they have gotten so big/fast in terms of popularity , it really scares me @_@

I don't support them as much as before but I also don't want them to fall from (dis)grace as I know they work damn hard to get to where they're at now

And that's the main reason, why I don't like such articles/rumours.

The boys have already enough work to do and they don't need people, who put some extra pressure on them!
It's like, they're waiting for them to make a mistake! They're waiting for them to fall! This is not right...!

these TV stations are just too much. ratings aren't arashi's fault, and anything else is not arashi's fault, either. the only people at fault should be the people who are pressuring them. their not money making machines or whatever, their still human beings. i'm always going to be glad and proud of their success no matter what. it just sucks how much backlash has to come out of it.

i really hope this won't affect arashi in any way. i'd just want them to work their absolute hardest and we, as fans, will continue supporting them no matter what.

(although, i'm personally upset at how i can't financially support arashi this year. i can only support them with my thoughts and loyalty, but it still saddens me every day....)

i'm sure Arashi will do fine. 15% is pretty tough though nowadays, so i can only hope for the best. but i just hope they won't personally feel the pressure of becoming the 2nd SMAP. because, let's be honest, they are the golden standard of idol business and Arashi has a long way to go to even pinch their success.

true on what Eirynne said . Even though ARASHI's popularity has rebounce a great big deal the past 2 years , they still have not reach the same level of achievements that SMAP has accomplished

SMAP's not the best selling Johnny's act of all time for nothing too & it reminds to be seen how well the guys can weather this

The “Oricon Style” website recently released the results of a survey conducted last month. They asked people to name the celebrity they wanted as a classmate. Miura Haruma obtained first place for the males list

I never watched Hana Yori Dango (I'm not really interested in this dorama), so I've never really understood all the hype about MatsuJun.
Oh, don't get me wrong. I really, really like him. He is always very nice to the fans and quite mature, but I just never saw his "greatness" (hides from angry MatsuJun-fans! ).
