^ i think they are strict because honestly, they have to be. they don't accept awards because the competition just with the fans is so...over-the-top. i read an article that someone stole a JE person's (i think it was Matchy) mother's ashes because he won an award. i think they don't allow pics online, so they can have control over every aspect of their image, really.

well Jin Akanishi came out here, didn't he? miracles can happen! though, i think because of that KAT-TUN will be the first to perform out here (but they still haven't confirmed their supposed Hawaii date, so....idk!) i think if any JE groups do come out here, it will be Hawaii, California, & New York. or where there is a prominent Asian community. i think Arashi & SMAP have big chances of coming outside Asia as well.

KAT-TUN did come out to Little Tokyo here in Los Angeles in 2005, but it was a disaster, LOL. they clearly did not have enough security for the guys & fans were literally...surrounding their car (i saw a YouTube clip ages ago). i think that's why they've been so hesitant to have anything over here (or in Europe). in Japan, it's expected so i think they're more prepared (& its probably easier for them to have everything under Japanese law).

but if jin can come to LA, it still makes me hope arashi or other groups can come here, as well. i don't mind having hope and all, but i'd like to see it pay off eventually, lol. it just upsets me sometimes and i feel like it'll never happen

even if arashi did come to NY, i'd still have to travel to the city. and i hate taking the train and i'm scared of big crowds and i have no money.. even if i couldn't go, i'd love to see it broadcasted on TV or something. i'd totally record it but i'll think about it when that day comes, if it ever comes, haha.

But with those restrictive image control, apparently there are more issues on driving with Johnny's artists than other artists in my opinion (such as Ayumi Hamasaki)...why is that? I don't get this - Johnny's artists and related people don't get pictured for the Internet, yet with the recent incidents on the driving situation, it makes me wonder why that control issues have led to more driving incidents by Johnny's artists than other artists such as Ayu or such...

Stealing ashes? That's terrible. I think not allowing them to be pictured on the internet is really ridiculous - it's so backwards with the times now. Plus, it's not like they'd lose any profits from releasing CD covers and stuff - they top the charts no matter what. It seems like releasing images of them would actually be MORE promotion, wouldn't it?

I guess it just shows that they're selling an image rather than music.

Well, yeah, as sad as it is, it's exactly that. It's an image and the company will do everything they do to protect that image. That's why, for example, Morning Musume members have been fired in the past for smoking.

It's pathetic and backwards when you think about it, but from the point of view of an idol company it does make some sense. >_<

Or maybe they're just too busy now and didn't have enough time to make a better video. Please notice that they're also working on a new album, the Japan biggest tour ever, a drama fo Jun and all their tv shows. I don't think they're lazy, not at all.
Anyway, I don't really like the pv too.. but I love the song ^__^

wow I have to say I'm really impressed . Considering that both singles doesn't have any B-sides , for it to lodge such consistent strong no.s even though it's only the 2nd day

I guess attaining 300K for To be free will happen by tomorrow & it's good since I like the song a great deal & for the record , I like the PV & my younger sister kinda expected it will be blue & very carefree xD

and OMFG. i really did not think arashi could sing for jun's drama. it's been 3 years since they last sung for a drama of his the title is too perfect! they also had a song "RAINBOW" on Iza, Now! so i'm happy to see this new song titled "Love Rainbow". september release or late august release, please!
