UVERworld’s vocalist TAKUYA∞ donates 10 million yen for earthquake victims

It’s been revealed that UVERworld’s vocalist TAKUYA∞ donated 10 million yen (approximately $121,285 USD) to the Japan Red Cross Society. According to their agency, the donation was personally made by TAKUYA∞.

Below is the comment from the UVERworld members for victims.

“We would like to express our hearty sympathy with everybody who has been affected by the Great Tohoku Kanto Earthquake. We see sorrowful news on TV, and it’s very heartbreaking to think how hard it must be for the victims. All the members of UVERworld will do our best on whatever we can do. We’re supporting all the victims and people who have been helping them, and we hope that happy days will come as soon as possible. Let’s meet again with smiles.”

looks like the official release date for CORE PRIDE will now be May 11th. the OP to Ao no Exorcist will air on April 17th.

I think I saw a 9 secs snippet of something on that on YouTube , I hope it's not going to be another live video , like GOLD , I will be really annoyed ~_~

that 9 second clip from CDTV just seems to be a random clip from the TOKYO DOME concert. it's not part of the PV. honestly, i don't even think they made a PV, LOL. because it's already the 6th & nothing's uploaded. UVERworld's PVs usually get uploaded a week in advance.

I still think they made a PV for MONDO PIECE , especially since details of the single began to surface like what late last year ? D:

So it frankly doesn't make any sense to me if it didn't happen but hey you never know

Have they ever released a single where they didn't made a PV for the song ? :O

every single had a PV! but GOLD's PV came out a month late because it was in 3D.

i do hope MONDO PIECE will have a PV, but i feel like if it doesn't, then CORE PRIDE will definately get an awesome PV, lol.

UVERworld’s upcoming single chosen as theme song for anime

Previously, tokyohive reported that UVERworld would be releasing a new single “CORE PRIDE” on May 11th, and recently, it was announced that the new single has been chosen as the opening theme for upcoming anime “Ao no Exorcist.” The anime will start airing on April 17th and is currently an ongoing manga on Jump Square, written and illustrated by Kato Kazue.

The vocalist of UVERworld, TAKUYA∞ said that the song became synergistic between the world of UVERworld and the world of the anime.

As the follow-up song for “CORE PRIDE”, they will include “UVER Battle Royal~Keta Hazure mix~” which they mixed their previous songs (and instrumental songs). For the limited edition version, their live video from Fukuoka DRUM LOGOS which was held in December 2010 will be included.

btw, is CORE PRIDE really their 20th single? because in the first post, i got it listed as their 19th single.

i just counted all their singles by hand (i know them by heart

) and it equals 19 singles, lol.

also, the b-sides to MONDO PIECE are both awesome!!

i really don't think i'm missing out on a single, LOL. i don't count gekidou & just break the limit! as two seperate singles or anything, because it's one double a-side single. am i going crazy or something?

i counted again & it's really 19 singles.
