Sometimes you can tell that a pic was heavily edited, like the one she posted on instagram on the 28th of february, but for this one i think it's okay

A japanese friend of mine showed me a japanese app that retouches your pictures in a very subtle way. It slims your face and stuff like that and still looks very natural... That's the kind of thing I was wondering if she does to her pictures.

I don't think so. Those filters you talk about are over the top. Just regular insta-filters do wonders too. Even I could look flawless when I use the right filter😉 (Love for 'Clarendon')

Not all of them are over the top. The ones that are only on the app stores in Asian countries are far superior. Although the Adobe app isn't bad... if you know what you are doing.
