Love it. Can’t wait to play it in my car tomorrow. But on one listen, I’m super pleased. I was hoping the chorus would be uplifting and fun and have some energy to it, which it does! I thought it would be some monotonous beat/sound effect with no melody but it didn’t pull back, it went in! It’s very happy and just, a ray of sunshine. I think the verses capture the heat of summer, the uncomfortableness at times… but the chorus captures all the good things that accompany it.

If I had to choose, I prefer a Nonfiction, but both of these tracks are songs I’m going to be happy to hear on the album!

Fierce and sexy EDM is like home to me.

I didn't have high expectations for this summer single, songs like July 1st, Blue Bird or you & Me sound overly sweetened IMO, but this song sounds made by a truly queen of pop!

Glad people like it. Sounds like a generic gay-disco-tune to me and us definitely among her worst summer songs, which still is a good standard.

It ups definitely enjoyable but has no repeat value.

If the translation is correct, the new release time will be announced at 10am. We might get it tomorrow evening but it could take longer than that.

I want them to take their time instead of rushing it, of course, but I can't believe they didn't manage to finish editing the video in the span of one month. Things like this shouldn't be happening. Also wondering why they announced it for today when they probably knew they wouldn't / would barely make it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to wait for a good PV but her team is a mess.

OK I listened to it like 10 times, it's starting to feel like a good song for me. I think I'll enjoy it more with the PV.

I'm thrilled that the Ayu I fell in love with is back.
And 20 years after, the hype is still the same before a release. I'm like a kid waiting to open his presents.

Damn, this woman fills me with happiness and joy and I can easily forgive her some crap songs when she releases new quality stuff.

Hmm… At first I really didn’t care for it. Now that I’ve had it on repeat for a while… I like it, but I do wish she’d either sing in a register that didn’t leave her sounding so “pitchy”, or that they’d edit it out. It’s pretty bad in DaD as well, but feels worse in this one.

This will be the first time that I say I don’t believe her. And I only say that because recently, several big stars in the West have been pulling that card. “Oh, technical difficulties,” and “it’s delayed because we need special permissions.” Then it’s released on a later date. I think it’s tactics to build anticipation or something. And of course, the delay gets the project additional press because it was late.

Seriously, her team is a complete mess. And I also believe is a tactic to build hype. Like, an announcement of the announcement of the announcement lol It’s ridiculous imo. Of course the video is done, they had enough time for editing and the announcement of yesterday clearly implied that it was the PV being released.
Anyways, it’s probably her best video of the last 10 years so I get they want to hype the fans, but please stop the LIEEES.
