And no, "MOON", while it may nto be her best, is still a fabulous single. Certainly better than "Prisoner of Love" and "Mirrorcle World". Althoguh it is not be better than "60s70s80s".

Either way, she deserves the number 1.

She's been through a lot, is working hard with her tour, and this is a 4 a-side single.

It deserves number 1 more than any single this year.

Maybe she should get the number 1 just so she can feel better, bring up her hopes and spirits. Raise her morale. That's another reason she should get number 1. She probably really needs a pick-me-up.

I don't care how much someone's been through, if their music is crap, they don't deserve a #1 single. If someone's whole family died, they got cancer, they became homeless and their dog died, I wouldn't buy their single if it sucked. That stuff's sad, but it's not going to make me go out and buy a single. And what Kuu "went through" was absolutely nothing compared to ACTUALLY bad things that happen to people.

If you wanna see a true survivor in the music industry, check out Ami Suzuki. The girl was blacklisted and banned from the music industry for standing up for herself and she lost everything. Now that's someone who's been through something bad.

Wow...that poor gurl. I read her story and it was sad that her fans turned their backs on her like that. I undestand why they did that when they knew it was Sony's fault in the 1st place. Ugh!

This isn't directly related to the thread, but I want to add that only rapists deserve to be raped. If you're stupid enough to walk through a dark alley alone at night, then you're stupid and you better hope nothing happens to you. If you get raped, it's because certain folks need to be locked up in jail, not because you warranted punishment for stupidity.

Anyways, I like the MOON single, but not enough to say that it deserves #1, but that's only my opinion. If it hits #1, it's because enough consumers liked it to buy it and put it there. If it doesn't hit #1, same reasoning applies. This is the music industry - deserves and not deserves don't apply. For debuting artists, luck plays a major role in determining success. All serious debuting artists work hard, but only a handful "make it." All of them deserve to achieve success, but life is rarely fair.

It's not about if it "deserves" number one, it's if it is a worthy purchase. I guess after reading some responses in here the answer for most people is a no, therefore it probably won't get to #1. But we'll see.

^She's up against GLAY. GLAY people, GLAY! It's a real low possiblity that she's isn't getting #1 and I mean LOW. =/ 66 people out of 400 were interested in MOON and on top of that, none of the MOON songs have really done well digitally.

I think sales are way more important. I don't know why Kuu fans are so obsessed with getting #1 when they should be wishing for high sales overall. But then again positions and ranks are important, as this IS this Oricon thread.

I would prefer for the sales to be generally higher XD as we've seen that you can get a #1 even with relatively miserable sales (DEF DIVA and AAA) if you carefully pick the release date, but that doesn't mean your single/album will actually sell good ^^
