why so low in taiwan? O_o she always debut at number 1 for 2-3 weeks

that's because the one on the chart is Japan version...and not overseas version like the other albums.

So is it confirmed that A COMPLETE debutted at #1 on the Oricon Weekly Charts or is it not finalized until the next few days?

I hope it debuts at #1, people made such a ridiculous deal out of GUILTY debutting at #2

Unless AC's can hover around 10k+ for awhile, the total sales won't go far.

AC got #1 weekly, and maybe even will get #1 monthly

Sweet! I thought Oricon would do that weird thing they do where they calculate based on the first two weeks of sales.

i never understood why you can buy her albums officially at christmas, when the release date is january 1st.....

The oricon year is 51 weeks. It ends a week before the year ends so they combine the last and first week of the year as the first week of the oricon year. That's why guilty was counted over a 2 week period. Oh man i was hoping A Complete would sell 8 or 9k but it's ok i guess. Can't be too greedy. I was watching this 2001 christmas special ayu did with gackt on youtube. I wonder when she will do random shows like that again. I feel that tv is a good way to reach out to the general populace. What she's doing now seems somewhat exclusive. It's hard for non-fans to reach out to her. Or more like she's not reaching out to non-fans.

She seems to be putting herself out there less, but maybe she's just tired of doing so? Her earlier promotions must have created an incredibly hectic schedule.

If shes not reaching out to non-fans, it is probably because she doesn't really want to. She never really likes it when avex markets her as a product. I think she would welcome non-fans getting into her music, but shes not going to go out of her way to get them to listen in

Well, last year she managed to appear at least 4 or 5 times per single / release.

This time she's appeared twice for one release and twice for another. It's an Ayu record. She's never appeared on so few TV shows. Not even during her debut!

They are. But they also have been around for about 20 years and just released a best album in June. So for this release I was pretty much expecting about average sales.
