akk, the big picture... spray tan fail?? looks really bad. :/

can somebody explain to me the kuroayu concept?
i always wondered why the appears single was basically the same picture as the LOVEppears album cover, but with a tanned ayu. was the reason/concept ever explained?

appears single and LOVEppears album were released on the same day, so fans bought them together... I think so.

they did the same for Duty and SURREAL.
