They've been getting very strict with scalpers though. If your name doesn't match the name on the ticket, they won't let you in. Or at least that's what they say they're doing. I'm not really sure if they're enforcing it much? I didn't have a problem this April when I went to see her, but I was also using the ticket I got through her fanspace. Is there anyone who can confirm?

I am starting to think that 01.~39. New Recording is just a mislabel. It is not officialy mentioned anywhere neither on Namie Facebook page nor is it on yesasia.
Actually, Namie Facebook page posted info that: In addition to all 45 hits from “Mister U.S.A.” to~”TSUKI” AND New Recordings ... meaning 6 new tracks and not 39 newly recorded tracks!

^no? on her official website, right above the tracklist it says "*Track 1 - 39 = new recordings"

...
・その他店舗・ECサイト ver.
※各種特典は無くなり次第終了となります。

【収録内容】 ※01.~39. = New Recording
CD
Disc1
01. ミスターU.S.A.
02. 愛してマスカット
03. PARADISE TRAIN
04. TRY ME ~私を信じて~
05. 太陽のSEASON
...

+ I think her official website is the one to be trusted. At least over the crappy translations on her facebook and yesasia.

Oh I had the impression that sakura time is on it's best at april. Well march could work, would still prefer to go at the end of march/early april when it's probably a bit warmer already there haha. But I'll guess first step is to join her fan club and wait until the info of the dates comes thanks!

The cherry blossoms came early last year. If you really can only go between late March and early April then either 1) plan ahead or 2) prepare to pay a premium when it comes to hotels. And if you're getting a Japan Rail Pass make your seat reservations for the bullet train as soon as humanly possible after you arrive.

Thanks for your knowledge! I need to think this ahead for sure, all of this has come so suddently I was thinking originally going again next year to see Ayu on her 20th anniversary tour (when ever that is haha) and hopefully to see sakura time, since I missed it on 2015. But then came Namie with her retirement and that changed things. I would still want it to be as warm as it can be on that time of year in Japan, see Namie (in Tokyo Dome, I know, I need to find God or something), and the sakura. But I need to plan this and hope for the best, I already ended up paying over a thousand euros for a week in 3 star hotel at Shinjuku back in 2015. Now I just hope I could get Namie ticket without going broke hahah!

^ that's a lot of £ you spent on hotel accomodation alone

I learnt from experience that conbini are a lifesaver in Japan and frankly if you live near 1 or a supermarket it's even better

When I 1st went back Tokyo in 2012 to attend a concert for the 1st time , I stayed at Ginza . Posh area yes but very inaccessible as I took the airport limousine bus and I was so unprepared how big the train stations were in Tokyo

Last week of 2014 & 1st week of 2015 when I went to attend a countdown live in Yokohama , I went back Tokyo again and more prepared . This time , I stayed at another area and the hotel my friend recommended (cost significantly lower too) was great , there's a Family Mart literally right besides the hotel and walking distance was a Seiyu supermarket with a few other Family restaurants

Most importantly the train station is small as it only has 1 exit so I didn't got lost and I took the Keisei Skyliner which saved me so much trouble unlike taking the airport limousine bus

Subsequently my sister stayed at the same hotel twice , most recently when she went back Tokyo again last month

You can stinge on hotel accomodation & food costs in Japan but you cannot do that for their transport cost sadly

Train stations in Japan that're big with many different exits scares me . The Namba station in Osaka is tail spinning for me

Finally is really, really nice.
The other two are not my cup of tea.
Do It For Love is actually really annoying...

Her voice bothers me a bit in Do It For Love tbh, but Finally is GOLD. Gonna listen to HOPE soon.

Yeah, it's true cherry blossoms are in fully bloom in April usually, but they often start popping out in the last two weeks of March. Last year in particular was very early, so it differs slightly year to year, but March overall is a pretty nice time to go regardless.

I'm not sure how much yen a thousand euros equate to, but I would say in this day and age, skip the hotel and get an airbnb. You can find tiny Japanese apartments for 4,000 to 5,000 yen a night. Dirt cheap and you really get the full living in Japan experience then.
