i chose koda kumi ..i just don't like her appearance which is just too over FOR ME..
well..i love her songs.. especially ballads..
i never watch her PVs..only for ballad ones...

I had to vote for Morning Musume. I'm sure they're nice girls, I don't hate them personally. I just can't stand that type of J-Pop. Everything about them is just.....why?

I love/like the rest of them.

I voted Namie anyway. The thread title confused me. I thought it was which artist we disliked from 2004, and Namie's 2004 work didn't impress me.

It's definitely Koda Kumi for me. It's not that she's overrated or anything ('cause she's doing her damn thang) but it's her voive that irratitates the hell out of me. The songs I actually like are 1000 no Kotoba, Real Emotion (I like Jade of Sweetbox version better though) and Won't Be Long (I'm so addicted to this song)

Koda Kumi... Her music is just bland, and her videos are rip offs of old Ayumi videos. I think when she finally starts making honest music, that's relatable, I might listen to it. Right now she just seems so fake, and I can't get into her music at all.

I would have to say Kumi too. She has a pretty good voice, but her music is so boring. She's been releasing a lot of generic songs one after another, and she calls that "working hard"... I guess it's not really her fault, but I wish she would take more time for each release and make good songs, not just anything in order to sell.

Despite the fact that this is an AYU forum, I can't believe that there's
so many Ayu haters.x.x Ah well.

It's a tie between momusu and Koda.
I liked the mm who were in the love machine era, but the new members? UGH. So frikken annoying..

As for Koda, I find her voice annoying and her ballads are getting a bit repetitive.

Ayu haters? Please. Read the thread title carefully. "Artist you dislike the most". The artist you like the least.


But then again, this forum has a very big bunch of nice & kind people. Some people join for this kind of community. And on another note, there might be some people who disappoint at Ayu's recent materials and converted into other artists' fans.

i wouldn't pick koda
she's actually a good singer
i just don't like how she has to add all this "you got me really horny" or sexually-charged songs like JUICY to improve sales
it's just BS, the whole sex sells thing
(not just targeting Kuu)

but if i were to choose... i would go with Morning Musume
