OMG GO BANCHAN!!

After the disbandment of Do As Infinity, Van Tomiko took a small fall with her first solo album, but has been quick to regain popularity with her three singles and participation in movies and musicals. Now, Van Tomiko will be releasing a new solo album. The album will be a cover album of Japanese and English songs, from male and female artists alike. The album is announced to be a Spring 2007 release, but no other information is given. Do note that this is not and original album, and her three singles will not be included in this album.

Yay, "Yumeji" is releasing next week. I just loooove the song! I wonder how she'll do in the charts. She's against Mika Nakashima for NANA I think... =O

Will she ever release her freaking single songs on an actual album? This is pissing me off. She'd better do it with her next original album - flower included... otherwise, there's really no point to it and there's no promotion for the album because none of the released songs are ON there.

Anyway. I like the Yumeji covers (hope there's a large, high-quality version for the CD-only available soon) - don't know about the songs yet, though, but why bother with them? They won't be on her next goddamn album.

Freaking Van. She does know it's smart to release signles that'll actually be on an album eventually, right?

I like "labyrinth" better, Yumeji is a nice song!!
The covers are beautifull too - I wanna see Van with long hair again from the "Deep Forest" days she looked so beautifull!! I mean she still does now but long hair suits her better in my opinion!!

well, her next album is a cover album. it's not an original album, so of course her singles won't be on it. Hopefully (most likely) her 2nd original album will contain her single songs.

hmm, didnt know about the cover album....i hope the second album is soon, because i really want to hear some new original stuff...but it better have Labyrinth on it...that song IMO is so much better than Yumeji. And i hope the cover album has songs i know of on it...i read that she likes Sheryl Crow...lol maybe she'l sing My Favorite Mistake (love that song) i hope her pronounciation has improved a bit. It wouldnt matter much though
