John Kaye Cooper, ITV’s Controller of Entertainment said, “Cheryl is not only an amazingly successful, sassy and talented woman but through her winning Popstars: The Rivals has been through similar experiences to those hopefuls who want to take The X Factor crown.

We’re delighted that she has joined the channel that discovered her and look forward to her becoming an important part of The X Factor team.”

Richard Holloway, Head of Entertainment at talkbackTHAMES said, “I’m delighted that one of Britain’s most successful recording artists of the last decade has joined Britain’s favourite entertainment show.”

Probably. Maybe they all have at some point or another.

Anyways, does anyone know why in the hell Cheryl got back together with that scumbag Ashley? I heard they're buying a new house now as well. I think she could do so much better than some jerk who cheats on her after they haven't even been married that long. I hope the English press hates him, but I really wouldn't know since I don't live in the UK.

have any of you heard about the tour's support act, The Saturdays? they're a new girl group that Polydor is launching this summer, featuring two ex-S Club 8 girls, Frankie and Rochelle. and they're really good.

their first single, "If This Is Love," is being release July 28th. it's a good song, but I actually prefer the songs "Up" and "Keep Her" that they performed on the tour.

I don't think they're quite up to the GA standard, but they're still pretty good, and they've got potential to get better, imo. also, Una is gorgeous <3

Ahhh I remember seeing this post when I was a more active member here at AHS but I always just kinda blew GA off...then over spring break I downloaded (almost) everything they've done and fell in love <3

SO now I'm here to join in the fun! I heard that the rest of the girls will be mentoring the contestants on X Factor with Cheryl...should be interesting!

Also...this might be a lot to ask but I was wondering if anyone has the Call The Shots b-side Blow Your Cover (I think that's what it's called...) and ANY remixes (I have none) like from Mixed Up and the S!NNN... remix from the single. If anyone could help out I would be eternally grateful

In the new Vanity Fair they talked to the Jonas Brothers and the oldest one (Kevin I think? I don't really pay attention to JB...) said that Girls Aloud is on his iPod and that he thinks they're all beautiful. I have to agree!

Oh, they're performing With Every Heartbeat live? That's very nice to know, I like their version of it.

As for their T-shirts, Kimberley's looks like it's from 2001, Sarah's looks like it has Agyness on it, Nicola's is amazing and the other two are really similar. :O I hope they have success with this project, though.
