I'm pretty sure Ami is the only artist EVER to win the The Japan Record Awards - Best New Artist award twice! She won it in 1998 and 2005. Eventful also won a "gold prize" from the Japan record awards whatever that means. I had no clue that Around the World won so many awards D:

alan also got a few live performances on tv.... which is why she sold better. SO STUPID! Avex, why are you promoting ALAN and not Ami?

Or because Avex has screwed up priorities. Ami came back from total career death and had a huge hit, I don't see why she can't do it again. As much as I like Alan's stuff, "ONE" was about 3 billion times better than her latest single.
