FLOWER FLOWER's music is not as mainstream as YUI's

I mean in Mi , already almost close to 1/2 the songs are over 5 mins long which's quite insane

But overall it's very different from what YUI used to do which could be a good or bad thing

I can't listen to the full album, I get sleepy !!
I can listen one or two songs, and they're nice, but when I try to listen to the whole album I can't.

I didn't like this album too much. Aside from the single tracks which I love (except Kamisama), Hikari was the only track I remotely liked. I personally think Aki is better than the whole album.

I think the exact opposite. For me the singles were boring (with the exception of Subarashi Sekai) but some of the album tracks are gorgeous! I sense some Shiina Ringo influence here. I don't know why but some of the arrangements remind me of Bjork or Chara.

Overall, better than I expected.

The type of music FLOWER FLOWER does wouldn't appeal to everyone . Not just the duration of the songs but also the style they undertake in Mi

Not all the songs are boring , it's just that at times I find myself struggling to listen to the album especially here & there it can get quite random

Honestly I expected more especially since there're no pictures of the band in the booklet -_-

Oh well , I'm glad I didn't buy the Japan press anyway LOL

Ugh yeah I was quite disappointed but then again it was expected as well ahahaha D:

I wish they could have put in a bit more effort in the packaging of Mi as the overall feeling felt really lazy

Oh well what to do -_-

Finally gave the album a try just to see how YUI fared.
Honestly it's disposable. The instrumentation is more interesting than anything I can remember of YUI's, but YUI herself still gives me a headache with her shrill voice. Like ASFXX Ayu. God that album shatters windows.

I think with due respect you should at least acknowledge that what YUI does in FLOWER FLOWER is something completely different from what she does in her solo stuff

And if you want to find fault with what Mi offers , then 'blame' it on the entire band as they're the ones that compose/co-arrange everything in the album

That said I really have no idea how I'm going to write my opinions on Mi in my blog
