The DVD is probably all done and ready. But Utada is too busy sipping tea out of a million dollar cup with her legs propped up on a couch to give a damn.

I think it has more to do with Utada either having to buy the rights to all her songs back from IDJ or making a deal with them....and it's a slow process because she isn't signed with them anymore so they don't really care about her. Kinda similar to how I personally believe that she went on that "tour" to get out of that contract.

She decided to terminate her contract with Island Def Jam because of the best album they decided to release of her English material, right? Or was there something else that I'm not aware of at all?

And I'm listening to Precious now. "I Don't Love You" is such a awesome song. I love it so much though I can't relate. It does fit in one of my fanfics though lol.

I think the contract was just for two albums...

I downloaded the album quite some time ago. I never even unzipped the file, and it sat there for a long time. I deleted it.

Yeah her contract was only for 2 Albums. She was done after "This Is The One".

I hate the age 30. I was not looking forward to this day. She is a full blown adult now and it is still hard for me to accept that.

At least my favorite artist isn't some teeny bopper though and is relatively close in age to me. Could be worse. She could be old like ayumi. Utada is aging superbly.

It was a one-off digital single. The song is being used as the new Evangelion film theme; since she did the previous themes for the other films, when asked to not break her streak she created the song out of respect for the staff of Evangelion.
