They've uploaded Haru yo, koi! It's always been on YouTube, but in horrible quality. I may have let out an actual cry of joy when I saw this had been uploaded. One of the best performances.

I love that performance Haru Yo Koi! It fits in perfectly with Ayu's discography. I would love it if there was an A Ballads with this as a bonus track.

I've been watching some videos from that channel and really enjoyed the performance of Another Song and Why. Another Song is a tune I've really come to appreciate over the years. I didn't think highly of it at first at all!

^ I love watching old performances from 90s. I still remember how I first saw her pics from 1998 back in 2002 when I just learnt about her. I was sooo surprised to see her with black hair and almost no make-up. I thought she looked like a different person. It's amazing how she became a celebrity she is now.

IMO, it's mostly "the Ayu that performed on TV at all" since there's only so many occasions nowadays that we see her do lives and it's almost always the same sort of occasion.

I think there are a lot of HD-only resources out there for the performances they uploaded. It'd probably be a good idea for that person to put their stuff on openload or something instead of YouTube.

It's crazy, every single one of ayumi's songs (maybe except the ones on her last album), I can clearly remember hearing them for the first time and what life was like when either an album was released or I heard it for the first time. Other artist's music do that to me too, but there's a stronger sense of nostalgia with ayu's music, for me. I love that. I don't listen to her music throughout the year, but once a year I take time to binge her discography and it's such a treat. Might take time to do that soon.

I'm so bummed everything is gone. I mean what was that person thinking really? Did they really think they could escape copyright? They are overly strict with that these days.
They should get in touch with an online fan community and offer to share all the stuff they have. That is what I would do anyway.
I just love that they managed to get such HD quality videos. A lot of the TV lives of Ayu on youtube aren't high quality. This was like watching a Blu-ray of live TV performances.
I have always wanted Avex to release a collection of TV performances but I understand why they cannot.

It's cause ayu has a hint of melancholy in almost all her tracks. So when looking back on them, you feel nostalgic for that time period/song which was already being voiced through the lends of melancholy. And, you get sort of an enhance effect of it.

I wouldn't mind that if they put on a 2nd (and a 3rd) disc including newer ballads <3

Everytime I listen to A BALLADS I can't help think what a masterpiece that album is. It has aged well. Truly a classic.
