Love the clearfile pics, makes me wonder if the backcover of WINGS will actually be an alternative cover like she did for Promise/Star and Suki de/Anata dake ga instead of an usual backcover. Would fit very well the concept.

I absolutely love the images I've seen with this release. Even the images of the bonus items. Just I must admit that I'm disappointed that the bonus items are just post cards and a clear file. I preordered the FC edition and was hoping for something nicer and more useful. Honestly I miss the days when Japan was giving out stuff like posters and such all the time. The WINGS image would definitely look amazing framed on my wall.

^ Other artistes such as B'z & GRANRODEO still give away a wide variety of bonus items for their releases such as Bromide photos , mega jacket covers of the release , keychains , ticket holder & etc

I guess Kuu could have done that but I think she decided not to

When you have too many choices , the bonus item giveaway sometimes turn out to be the main reason in you getting it & not the actual release itself

Golden Bomber also said the same thing for their upcoming new album that will drop next month on 8th Feb too

Kiryuin Sho (Vo) felt that even if they release a CD in this day and age, people don't want to hold onto it. So, they decided to release a "Regular Edition" (CD+DVD) along with a Tote Bag Edition, Pouch Edition, and Mirror Edition. Thus, you can choose to purchase just the items alone or purchase it together with the CD.

@KarenPang Yeah I can definitely see that happening a lot. Personally I'd get Kuu's release no matter what. Truth be told though, I'm now at a point in my life where I'd rather turn down a non-useful bonus item or not get one at all versus having something I'll most likely need to sell or throw out. I just dislike clutter in my home. I used to keep promo slips, obi strips etc. Now I just toss em. The clear files I have been using to sort personal stuff, so at least that's something I'd have a use for. Plus I do love the design. I will however admit that I have wanted a newer Kuu poster on my wall for quite awhile. Lol

You throwing out obi just killed me. Would never buy a used CD without the OBI.
I just slip them into the case at they fit vertically.

Stupid question, but what's the best/easiest way to attend her concert ?
Is being a member of the Koda Gumi global fanclub enough, like for TA global fanclub ?
I'd love to attend her next tour (she was never touring when I was in Japan before, bad timing), so I'm really thinking about joining the global fanclub for tickets...

@thinkingoutloud I keep the ones that fit inside the case. I have had a few that don't though cause of their unusual large size. I've purchased used Jpop CDs online many times and can't control whether or not I get 'em with obi strips. In fact, my used copy of A BALLADS came without the slip cover which kinda disappointed me.

@Sim I've joined the FC and get notices right away about tours and merchandise etc. This is also how my friend got tickets for Kuu's 2019 Tour. I do recommend it. Also if you do want to purchase her albums and/or merchandise then I recommend signing up for the mu-mo ID+ as well. You'll earn some points to save you a little money here and there.

Oh btw, almost forgot but to ship items overseas through mu-mo or the FC you need to sign up for an account with tenso. I recommend watching this YT video. They explain everything quite well as it can be a little tricky to get used to at first.

This time, she keeps this album secretly quite good. Nothing leaks or even PVs released for months til the anticipation is less by time. I admit I am excited to Wings more than other albums in years even though I don't like the song -Wings- or the cover much
