Actually, already shared a few of other artist, but it doesn't look that AHS is taking much interest. |

Quite interesting Seiko documentary footage has been uploaded at YouTube. It's from late 1980's. Seems to be incomplete as it ends early on in part two. Includes scenes of the Flawless Seiko shop opening in Tokyo, filming of Karibu Ai no Symphony movie and Sayaka-chan (daughter) as a baby. Worth checking out even if you do not understand Japanese.

She will also appear on NHK SONGS in two parts. First part airs on 5/19 and second on 5/26. Lots of songs and TV exposure for her. Thanks for the latest videos! I need to hear the full version but, for the moment, I don't like 30th party. I thought it was going to be an upbeat song similar to 20th party but it seems that it's a medium-tempo average album track

I've seen many ads in Japanese websites of Seiko with Nakajima Miyuki and they both look really good though it was funny to see them together *___* Maybe in 20 years Ayu and Kuu will do wrinkle cream ads together too

30th Party does indeed sound average. Although, I will also wait before I give my verdict. It's cool how the lyrics seem to include words of Seiko's past song names. minkAYuko, there are three times that I am aware of: 1999.11.08 @ HEY!x3 2000.06.16 @ Music Station 2001.07.09 @ HEY!x3 HEY!x3 is only during the introduction when all guests enter the stage (they don't do this anymore). There is no interaction between the two. Not sure about Music Station because I haven't watched that episode. All I know is that Ayu performed "SEASONS" while Seiko did "Shanghai Love Song". That Seiko performance is actually missing in my collection. It's a shame that Ayu never got Seiko to be guest on ayu ready. Doubt she would have attended though. I think she was quite busy promoting area62 in USA during that time. |

On a personal note: Yesterday I met this japanese designer who came to my city to do a workshop and expose her work at a gallery and we were talking about jpop artists I follow and how much I like japanese music and stuff and she asked if I liked Matsuda Seiko and I said "Oh yeees! I love her!!!" and I showed her that I had the song "Hitomi wa Diamond" as my ringtone at the moment and she turn to another friend and all excited started to say: Sugoooiii Sugoooii!!!. It was very cool! =D=D=D

You also asked me if she and Ayu are friends. I don't think they are.
