Well, when I think about it, I think that sifow may put out another single or album. I mean, she is still signed to Avex, right? I think that if she was going to stop music, they would drop her. And she hasn't mentioned it on her blog yet, right?

While this is true, I don't think we should get our hopes up. Avex obviously can't be bothered to waste more money on her. Just look at "Love Spell". They used ALL the singles and what came with them, minus the instrumentals. I think the school building is just a cover-up. Yes, it's true and a good thing, but maybe that's not the full extent of the situation. Avex have to be getting something off sifow, there's no way they'd keep her otherwise. She would have been finished after "CLARITY" bombed, literally.

I have really strong views and thoughts on the whole "sifow hiatus" thing, I just don't know how to get them into words... effectively.

^ I understand you completely, unfortunately. Why would she start a hiatus now for something in 2010? Surely she won't be that busy over the next two years, I mean, look at her blog. She's talking pics with friends and clubs when (if avex wanted her) she could easily be recording a single now. I'm like 75% sure she was dropped, sad.

I'm with you... but how many record labels would take the chance to spend money on decent covers/music/videos for a gyaru?

^ Ah, but which other label would even blink an eyelid at signing sifow? And even if they did, they would've dropped her after her first single failed to chart.

Also, I kinda have the feeling that sifow wasn't serious about promoting. The "I Uta" live she did was a joke, in all honesty. At a professional performance, who screams excitedly half way through the song?

:O Yes, but, 2,000 copies to Avex is like, what, selling half of a single? I just wish they would have tried harder or something if they were even going to bother. All or nothing. But I'm glad we got the music that we did so I guess I shouldn't complain...

I know but, when you consider the scales like promotion, Avex can see the potential. But then when it came to the Avex debut, where the hell were avex and their backup? That, we may never know the real reasons for...

Singing was just a side project. She never intended to become a major artist at all. If sifow wanted to become bigger, I'm sure there would of been like more effort shown.

sifow's target audience are the CLEAN gals. Ganguro/GALS's, have a very negative have a very negative perception from people, and sifow being one didn't really help at all.

GAL REVO (inc sifow) company are her management team, and they are the ones in general that do all that promoting. Since GAL REVO, is probably founded by sifow's very own funds, I'm sure their budget was at bear min.

I'm sure AVEX won't drop her, they have a contact, and sifow has mostly likely discussed what kind of artist she would of wanted to be, low key, Shibuya exclusive probably.

But since Kumi's pop is like slowly fading due to her "naughty" comment, i really wish they pimp out sifow soon! lmao. I'm going to re-purchase all of sifow's CD's when im in Shibuya lmao and hunt for sifow and pray she is in RE-CLA ya lol. And ill take pictures
